  I highly recommend this wonderful experience! We will have souvenirs that will last a lifetime and always remember our visit to Osaka. There is a large variety of kimonos to choose from, for all shapes and sizes. You can choose a city setting, a garden setting, or a little of both. It’s a short walk to the gardens outside the zoo and we got some beautiful photos. They will be emailed to us in about a week‘s time, but do were able to take a few with our phones, too. The whole operation is very professional! She did my hair and helped me coordinate everything with my kimono. It took a good 30 minutes to get dressed, it is beautiful, but complicated! The photographer is very professional and experienced. My husband and I had a wonderful time! This is a great activity for single people, couples, groups, and all ages!

  We had a wonderful time at the kimono photoshoot! The kimono shop owner, Mayumi was incredibly kind and accommodating, and she helped us choose from a wide variety of beautiful kimonos. Our photographer, Yuta, was also fantastic—he guided us through posing in a relaxed and easygoing way, which made the whole experience feel comfortable and enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this experience to anyone looking for something special!

  This experience was unique as the lady in the shop made sure we had outfits that were photo ready and also fit. My physic is a bit different for modern sizes; however with an innovative mind, she was able to put together an outfit that worked and looked good. The photographer was patient and made the experience so fun. He captured amazing photos and made us laugh. The different scenes also led to an array of photos to taken for beautiful results. I would definitely advise other travelers to give this company a shot.

  My wife had the most incredible experience booking a traditional Kimono photo session on the charming streets of Osaka, and it was truly one of the highlights of our trip! Our adventure began at the Kimono rental store, and we were immediately struck by the sheer variety of stunning kimonos available. Each one was more beautiful than the last, making it a delightful (though tough!) choice. Thankfully, the owner was an absolute gem. She patiently helped us navigate the options and guided us to pick out the perfect kimono that suited her wonderfully for her photoshoot. After selecting her outfits, the owner's talent truly shone as she meticulously styled her hair in a gorgeous, intricate traditional Japanese updo. It was clear she was an expert, and the final look was simply breathtaking. Then, it was time to meet our photographer and head out into the city. He was fantastic! He clearly knew Osaka like the back of his hand, taking us to all the most picturesque and authentic spots. He was great at directing us and made us feel so comfortable, resulting in some truly amazing and natural photos. We will forever cherish the memories we made during our trip to Osaka, and these beautiful, professional photos are going to be a huge part of reliving those special moments. We highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Osaka – it's a unique and wonderful way to immerse yourself in Japanese culture and capture truly unforgettable souvenirs.

  The kimono photoshoot was an absolute highlight of my trip to Japan. It was so much fun to do – from choosing a beautiful kimono (they had a wide selection!) to having my hair styled in a lovely traditional updo. The photographer was truly professional and had a great eye for detail, which made the whole session smooth and enjoyable. The owner was also incredibly kind and welcoming.   The ladies at Kimono Boton were wonderful. They dressed us quickly and had a great selection of styles and colors for ladies and men. Photographer Toni, was accommodating and recommended excellent nearby areas, Temples for traditional background and city for updated vibe.

  This is a very unique experience and a must do in Japan. The staff were very lovely and accommodating. There were lots of variety for Kominos, based on that, they will decide how to do your hair. The photographer was very lovely and very patient with my mum and I while going around the temple.

  My friend and I are Americans studying abroad at separate universities, our programs happened to overlap so we wanted to commemorate the good luck with photos! The experience was lovely, first, we chose the Yukata we each wanted to wear, being directed to selections that would best fit our respective heights and weights. Our hair was done up beautifully and expertly and we had a great time choosing which Obi and hair pins to pair with the Yukata's we picked out. There's a wide selection of everything to choose from! The photographers were very polite and encouraging, my friend and I both have a bit of social anxiety, so it was nerve-wracking to be walking around the area all done up and taking pictures, but we had a great time because of them! We walked around a few different locations, stopping multiple times along the way to take photos. It was very hot out so we were sweating quite a lot, but the female photographer made sure to dab any sweat off our faces with a towel and was generally very kind. I have no idea how to pose for photos, but the photographers gave us lots of direction on how and where to pose which made it a lot easier. In a week we received the link for the photos and there were well over 100! and all gorgeous. I recommend opening the link on a PC as the mobile website is a lot harder to navigate.
