5.00Tour was absolutely fantastic. Tour owner is tour guide. So knowledgeable and proud of her island and country. We were a small group. Only one other couple with us. Lots of walking but stops along the way. The three hours flew by. It was like taking a stroll with a good friend. This is a must do. We have been to Nassau before but learned so much this time. Next time we come back we will know all the spots to go. If you want history and culture and don’t want to just drive around having sites pointed out to you then this is the tour for you.

5.00This was a 2 hour walking tour up and down small hills, but not too strenuous. It was led by a native , firmed and owns the company, Eliyah of Nassau booked through TripAdvisor. Elijah was very personable, outgoing, and funny. She had an encyclopedic knowledge of her country and her history and the town of Nassau. We saw the residence of the Governor General of the Bahamas. We saw the Supreme Court Buildings, a complex of buildings, the Police Headquarters, and the biggest hospital in Nassau. We visited the Greycliff House, the Graycliff Chocolate Factory, the Greycliff Moonshine Store, the Greycliff Winery, all of which had tastings of their product, also avaliable for purchase with no pressure. We went to an area called the Queens Staircase, 66 stone steps carved out of a limestone in honor of Queen Elizabeth, who emancipated the slaves in Nassau. This tour has a small fee charged by TripAdvisor to book. Elijah dies not charge but gladly except tips. Bring water and wear comfortable closed toed shoes

5.00Allyah (I am confident I misspelled her name) was a great guide to introduce the Bahamas to non-Bahamians. It's difficult to engage people of different backgrounds, means, ethnicities, nationalities and we thought she was effective in sharing the past and the present in a way that kept people engaged, stayed out of politics and created an atmosphere where people were comfortable in asking questions. It was a solid 3 hours and we were grateful we'd bought a big water bottle before we started (it's $3USD less most anywhere but the area you meet at). Our guide provided a great introduction to Nassau and the Bahamas, exactly what we wanted. FYI Our only disappointment was the Gray ...area. very cruise-ship centered (which of course we understand); just wished it wasn't. Chocolate, cigars, moonshine, winery were all at a hectic pace. NOT an issue with the tour guide at all. And many kudos to the guide and all who work in those stores and put up with some ignorant and disrespectful behavior.

5.00We wound up being the only two on the tour so had a private tour. It was a great way to learn about Bahamian history, culture and horticulture. A morning well spent with a friendly and knowledgeable guide.

5.00We had a wonderful tour of downtown Nassau and a wonderful tour guide. She was well versed in Bahamian history and Nassau. Eliyah was gregarious and friendly highlighting so many things we would have missed on our own. As there is a minimal booking fee up front, it is primarily a tip based tour. I guarantee you will be tipping Eliyah generously.

5.00Best walking tour in Nassau! We met our tour guide & she was really fun and friendly and gave us so much interesting information- I loved it! My friend and I definitely walked a lot - but the guide was very interactive and informative and had lots of interesting facts about the island. So if a beach or some shopping isn’t interesting for you to do - book this tour! We were on a cruise ship & had enough time to stop by and grab a bite to eat and hit the beach.
10/10 Recommend

5.00Great experience. Our tour guide was great, knew her stuff very well, and was super informative! Felt safe the entire time in the city and visited some awesome spots. Saw everything someone visiting the area would want to see for a phenomenal price!

5.00Ellia was very informative and funny! We learned a lot, got to see some great sights. 3 hours of easy walking, lots of stops to rest while she talking about the area. She gave you an opportunity to to leave your half way through if it was too much, but we didn't want to miss anything... glad we didn't as the end of the tour was the best! Well worth the price... would highly recommend. We had plenty of time after tour to eat lunch, shop & get back on our feet cruise.

5.00I've been to Nassau numerous times but this was my first time doing a local tour. This was a 3 hour walking tour but the time flew by. It's a small group which made it very comfortable & fun in my opinion. I did this trip & tour solo. I got to the tour like 2 minutes before it started (which I don't recommend lol ) so I didn't hear the guides name but she was very knowledgeable & kept us engaged the entire time. Wear comfortable shoes & be prepared to walk & learn about beautiful Nassau! I would not recommend this tour for anyone with mobility issues. I really enjoyed this tour & just booked it again for next month when cruise to Nassau again.
