This is a BOOKING fee ONLY! This tour operates on cash tips/gratuities. NOTE: Please wear closed-toe shoes and modest, comfortable clothing. Flip flops are not suitable and revealing clothing like swimwear, booty shorts, or minimal coverage tops are not allowed and may result in cancellations. NOTE: KINDWalk operates rain or shine so please check weather forecasts and prepare accordingly. We start here right outside the museum with friendly introductions and a brief explanation about how The Bahamas in particularly Nassau was established.
Pompey Museum of Slavery & Emancipation
Guide will explain the history of the Museum and give a brief highlight of what to expect inside for anyone wanting to further explore. There is an admission fee.

1.00We arrived by ship and made our way to start our tour. No one was there and we waited 20 minutes. Now our phones were on airplane mode the entire cruise and we didn't purchase internet on the ship. We later learned the tour guide canceled the tour the day before, so I recommend you have a backup plan in place if she cancels on you.

5.00This walking tour was a really great experience! The guide was extremely knowledgeable and funny. She taught us a ton about Bahamian history and way of life. We received so many samples from varias places downtown and the guide gave us some really great recommendations as well. I would definitely recommend

5.00Our tour guide operates on kind concept - kindness is also what I strive to practice on a daily basis, the reason why we were interested to be part of this city tour. Eliyah is very knowledgeable, and brought us to areas where we would otherwise miss if we didn’t have a guide. This tour is a must for those wanting to explore the city. We highly recommend.

5.00Our tour guide (sorry, I'm probably mangling her name but it was something like "Elia") was fabulous. She was well-spoken, easy to hear, very tuned in to our responses and our questions. She made the tour a LOT of fun. She was also very knowledgeable about Nassau's history and flora, to name two topics. I recommend her without reservation.
