From far away you can spot the bounty sunlit island and its old iconic lighthouse. Upon arrival at Klein Curacao, the crystal-clear water is calm, perfect for swimming and snorkeling. Although the dry way to get to shore from the catamaran is by dinghy, we recommend you grab a snorkel and swim to shore! Upon going into the water, you will immediately spot many colorful fish and turtles all around you!

When you get ashore, explore the island while blissfully sunbathing along the way: visit the iconic pink lighthouse, the shipwrecks and ruins. At noon, the crew is ready to serve you up an extensive BBQ buffet. Enjoy drinks from the open premium bar.

Around 3:00 pm we set sail, waving goodbye to this Caribbean pearl and on the wings of the wind head back to Curacao.

CRUISE PASSENGERS, PLEASE NOTE: Our departure location Jan Thiel is approx. 25 to 30 minutes from the Curaçao Cruise Terminal. Unfortunately cruise ships dock too late to allow time for check-in here at 08:00 AM.

This uninhabited island is about an 1,5-hour boat ride away from Curacao and holds an intriguing history, mystery and beauty on just 1.7 square kilometers! Explorers, sunbathing enthusiasts, snorkelers and divers will all really enjoy a trip to diverse Klein Curacao!

We did the Klein Curacao catamaran trip and had a great day! Captain Pablo and his crew (David and two other nice guys) were super accommodating and know how to treat guests! We opted for the $19 bus ride to/from the Windam Renaissance Hotel - A/C new Fiesta bus-so worth it -was on time and polite. We took the bus to Mood Beach resort, where the Giant Catamaran showed up to pick us up. This is a much better trip than last year when we took a bus to a far marina on the other side of the island. The ride was smooth and took almost two hours to Klein Island. I recommend getting a table for your party early and stay seated to claim your seats! The crew serves breakfast sandwiches and coffee/juice once underway. Getting to the island, you can take a short swim to shore or just hop in their powered dingy to shore. They can ferry all your bags to shore on the dingy. Once on shore, the only disappointment was that there were other BlueFin boats there already and NO Lounge chairs available! We asked the rival boat company, IRIE, on the beach for a few chairs and they rented them to us for $5 each. We had to haul them to our shady area, but it was no big deal. Lots of shady hut space. Just ask others to share their shady huts. Be a little pushy and say, “You don’t mind if we share your hut do you? thanks!” Lunch was served on the boat at 12:30. I recommend getting onboard by noon to grab a table and seats. Lunch was amazing!!! Bar onboard opens at 12:30 - Bbq ribs, chicken legs, sliced steak with pesto pasta, bean/corn salad and beet salad. They get the food catered and reheat it onboard. They even accommodated my wife, who needed a Gluten Free pasta option, which was tasty pesto pasta! After lunch, dive back in the water or take a walk to the old abandoned lighthouse or one of the various shipwrecks on the island. Return to the ship by 2:30pm, but put your chairs back to where you got them! The ride home was also another two hours but was smooth. As we approached the shores or Curacao, the crew turns up the music and we had a fun dance party all the way home!!! Make sure you tip the crew at the end! We gave $40 cash - some people gave NOTHING - and we were horrified! The crew worked so hard the whole trip to make everyone happy, spoke five languages and was polite to everyone even when the guests were not. Overall, the best trip you can take when vacationing in Curacao! The only criticism was the lack of lounge chairs for all the guests. In the end, we probably only spent 45 minutes lounging in the chair and spent the rest of the time swimming and exploring. Love love Bluefinn!!!!

Our 8 am team op the 30.maart had a extraordinary capacity to put our diverse groep jong, older, flamboiend and calm persons at easy and made smiles appears on the faces . A team that works well together, it’s flowing. We will pass this on and will come back next year.

High energy, crew so helpful, really catered to us!!! Better than advertised! The camaraderie among the crew really helped us feel comfortable. Captain Alex lovely but absolutely in charge! Very safe.

Had a blast! Boat ride was smooth in March, had no issues. I also took a motion sickness pill beforehand, just in case. Staff was friendly and helpful. The water was the clearest I’ve seen in a while and a great temperature. The timing of the trip was enough to enjoy the island. We were back at the docking point by 5pm.
