From far away you can spot the bounty sunlit island and its old iconic lighthouse. Upon arrival at Klein Curacao, the crystal-clear water is calm, perfect for swimming and snorkeling. Although the dry way to get to shore from the catamaran is by dinghy, we recommend you grab a snorkel and swim to shore! Upon going into the water, you will immediately spot many colorful fish and turtles all around you!

When you get ashore, explore the island while blissfully sunbathing along the way: visit the iconic pink lighthouse, the shipwrecks and ruins. At noon, the crew is ready to serve you up an extensive BBQ buffet. Enjoy drinks from the open premium bar.

Around 3:00 pm we set sail, waving goodbye to this Caribbean pearl and on the wings of the wind head back to Curacao.

CRUISE PASSENGERS, PLEASE NOTE: Our departure location Jan Thiel is approx. 25 to 30 minutes from the Curaçao Cruise Terminal. Unfortunately cruise ships dock too late to allow time for check-in here at 08:00 AM.

Had the best time on our day trip out to Klein Curacao! The water is so blue and sand is soft white, exactly what you think of when you think Caribbean. The boat ride out there is 2 hours so be prepared if you are prone to seasickness. The BBQ was delicious and there was plenty of food and drink! Snorkeling was great and plenty of fish and other sea life to see. Captain AJ and his crew were professional and kind.

The staff was amazing, especially with the lunch service and return trip dance party. My only quibble is some pastries or other light breakfast snack would be a good idea for the journey to Klein.

The Klein Curaçao Day Trip with Premium Open Bar and BBQ Lunch is a fun, laid-back excursion that takes you to a beautiful uninhabited island with stunning white-sand beaches and clear turquoise water. Most guests love the friendly crew, tasty BBQ lunch, and unlimited drinks, making the day feel easy and relaxing. The ride over can be rough, though, so seasickness is common, and the island itself is very basic with limited shade or facilities. Snorkeling can be hit-or-miss, and the beach sometimes gets crowded with multiple tour boats. Overall, it’s a great choice if you want a simple, sunny beach day with food and drinks included—but less ideal if you expect luxury amenities or are sensitive to motion on the water.

It was very fun had ample time to swim!! The crew were very nice and lit!!! I saw sting rays, danced on the boat, and the steak with peanut sauce was delicious!!

The boat itself is large and comfortable, but the ride to the island is extremely bumpy which I understand they can’t control, so it makes sense that breakfast isn’t served. However, lunch was a big disappointment. They don’t start serving until 12:30, and when they finally do, the buffet quality is poor. The steak had no seasoning, the ribs were strange and definitely not BBQ, and the pesto pasta was not appetizing. The only good things were the chicken, the bread, and maybe the bean and Cuzco salads. What really shocked me was when I asked for a piece of bread for the ride back. I saw multiple bags of bread stored behind the bar, and when I asked, he told me he didn’t have any. When I pointed out the bags, he challenged me to “show him,” and even then, he refused and claimed the bread was “for another tour.” Two other women stepped in to smooth things over and told me not to worry because the return wouldn’t be as bumpy but still no bread. For a boat with over 50 people, the “snack” for the return trip was literally 3 sliced pineapples and a bag of chips that they had to ration piece by piece so everyone could get some. For the price of $131 per person, that’s just not acceptable. As for the tour itself: We left around 8:30 AM, arrived on the island around 11, and were already heading back at 2:30 PM so the actual time on the island is short. They also don’t guide you on where to snorkel or help you spot wildlife, which you’d expect on a tour at this price point. Overall, not worth the money. If you can do this experience with a smaller tour, I would definitely recommend that instead.

Great day experience :^) Bring sunscreen and your appetite! Only drawback was they didn’t raise the sails for trip back :^( Crew was excellent, super friendly, and attentive … great work Blue Finn!

My wife and I really enjoyed this excursion. The beach was beautiful, clear waters with white sand beach. They provide loungers if you want to just hang out. You'll have time to explore the island, the lighthouse and shipwreck. The crew was amazing, it's all you can drink (beer, mixed drinks, and wine). The BBQ was really good, which is also included and the homemade peanut sauce was delicious. My wife and I would definitely do this excursion again if we were to go back to Curacao

This was an amazing day. Blue Finn charters was amazing, the catamaran was very nice, the water getting over to the island was very wavy and they did a great job with all the waves. Staff was super nice and friendly. And the lunch was ribs, steak, chicken legs, and pasta. Open bar once lunch was served. And the island, oh my, beautiful. Water is turquoise and super clear. And for some reason, the sun is more extreme than the main island, so sunscreen is definitely needed. But overall, great day and highly recommend.
