  Mermaid is the way to go! They have a big portion of the island reserved for their guests including beach huts, chairs and a spacious picnic table dining area in a sheltered beach house. The staff on board were very attentive and friendly, especially when some got seasick on the way over. They have complimentary seasickness meds for guests if this is the case. I don't know how a group of people managed to board the boat with a large cooler filled with wine and beer when we are supposed to buy the drinks...the cooler flipped because of the choppy waves and spilled all over the floor, making it slippery for other guests. Not sure how the staff allowed those people on board so apparently you can bring your own alcohol and there are no consequences? They take credit card for drinks but bring cash if you want to tip the crew, which we did! Compared to other competitor boat companies who were on the island, Mermaid was clearly the bigger and better boat with a full top and bottom deck, we also got there first and left last, making it a longer excursion compared to the other boat companies!

  Mermaid Tours was the best. The other reviewers were correct when they said the ride would be choppy on the way there (waves had bothing to do with the tours ability in getting us there). I was able to withstand the choppiness, but others did get sick. I was able to get a 35 minute massage on the island which was excellent. The food was good and plentiful. I miss it already.

  Had a great time at Klein with Mermaid!. The island itself is beautiful, and a must when you're in Curacao. The whole trip is organized well, and guests have access to a private beach house along with other amenities. The bbq lunch was delicious. Although alcoholic drinks are not included, they're cheap and made well. Bartender was great. The ride to the island gets a bit rough, but going back was smooth sailing. A big shout out to the amazing crew! They were great, helpful and friendly throughout the whole day. After the trip, they helped me in arranging a taxi back to my hotel when I had issues booking one. Thank you once again guys!

  I was scheduled to take this tour (booked through Viator). I was traveling solo, and unfortunately, I injured myself directly before the tour and was unable to attend. After explaining the situation to the Viator team, I was assured that I would be issued a refund due to my circumstances. However, not only did that refund never materialize, but now I am being pressured to rescind my chargeback with my credit card company and being threatened with having this charge sent to a debt collector. I find this behavior to be unscrupulous and unethical. It reflects the exploitative nature of Viator and the companies they partner with. They make promises they don’t intend to keep, leaving consumers in a vulnerable position. I strongly caution any traveler against using Viator for tour excursions. There are many other companies with more consumer-friendly policies that actually honor their commitments and provide the refunds they promise when situations like mine arise. Choose wisely and avoid Viator and this company.

  We really loved it! The island was very cool. There’s a ship wreck, you can checkout. An old lighthouse you can go to the top and have a great view. Also you can see here turtles lay their eggs. We weren’t there during the season for the turtles but you can still see the egg shells and the nests since they mark them. Only downside is it’s crowded. So people (including my wife) jumped off the boat before it docked so you can run and get a spot under an umbrella. If you didn’t then you may be stuck in the sun or sitting in the cafeteria area instead of the beach.
