With a large thatched-roof patio, working restrooms, changing rooms, a freshwater shower, snorkel gear, and beach chairs, it's a great shady shelter to protect you from the hot Caribbean sun! We provide all the facilities you need for a carefree day on an uninhabited island.
Take a swim in the crystal clear water, sunbathe on the white sand beach, explore the gorgeous underwater world, or explore the island and discover Klein’s famous pink lighthouse and shipwrecks.
Our guests get exclusive access to our beach house. With a large thatched-roof patio, picnic benches, and cool drinks, it's a great shady shelter from the heat of the sun. We provide all the facilities you need for a nice day on an uninhabited island.
For an extra relaxing experience, you can book a massage in our exclusive watch tower (to be booked on the spot). Contact us if you're interested in scuba diving.

Far away from the hustle and bustle of Curaçao's Punda and Otrobanda districts lies a remote, uninhabited island with white sand beaches, crystal clear water, a spectacular reef and colorful sea life. The flat, wind-swept island of Klein Curaçao (Dutch for Little Curaçao) is a mecca for divers, snorkelers and sunbathers. Once the Mermaid has anchored off shore, you'll want to take a swim in the crystal clear turquoise water. Take a stroll and visit the historical lighthouse or collect shells on the beach. Lie out on a beach chair to soak up the sun or go explore the gorgeous underwater world. There's something for everyone at Klein Curaçao!

5.00Beautiful island & worth it experience! Yes, the ride out is rough (even w Dramamine!), but once on Klein Curacao, the day goes too quickly! The Mermaid staff really know what they are doing and anticipate every need; great lunch, too! If you want to choose your spot whether on the boat or on the island, get there early & that includes jumping off the ship and swimming to shore! Lovely, memorable day! Recommend!

5.0010/10 experience and would definitely sail again with Mermaid! They have the huts and chairs on the island and I believe the only group that serves the food right on the island.

4.00Great tour top to bottom. Perfect? No but pretty great. Nice boat. Great friendly staff. Good food. Amazing destination. I do have some feedback as someone who has worked for boat tours. But first I’d like to address something; with this purchase I received a voucher for a free bucket of beer(6). Directly on the voucher it says “print out this voucher or redeem by showing this on your phone” I did printout the voucher but of course forgot it but because I know myself so well I did indeed have it on my phone. The bartender told me I had to present the paper copy. Even though it literally said I could present on my phone. So just know they don’t honour that for whatever reason. Breakfast was mediocre so don’t expect a great spread. Lunch was great and I enjoyed it. One bit of feedback I would give would be to have at least one crew member at the food table to keep away the birds at breakfast. Frankly it’s a major turn off and a huge food safety violation having birds fly up to the food and literally be taking chomps out. Just one crew member standing there to deter the birds would make a huge difference. And this is coming from someone who lives in Hawaii so we have almost the exact problems with outdoor food events. Other than those things it was a fantastic chill day. My wife got a full one hour massage which she loved and at a good price. Absolutely great cruise. Cross those T’s and dot those I’s I mentioned, it would be 5 star.

5.00Top experience! Delicious! Good reception. Nice crossing, with dolphins on the way back. Klein Curacao has enough shade spots for everyone (yes you share your palapa with several people but still enough space, with more than enough beds. Good spacious breakfast. More than enough free drinks and delicious cocktails and beers (paid) Top BBQ and more than enough for a 2nd time. Just super arranged and definitely worth the money.

5.00This tour is impressive as it was very efficient and kept guests well informed. The entire day was well organized and ran exactly as scheduled. The ride out was a little rough (as they had warned) because you’re riding against the waves, but not horrible. Ride back much smoother. Once at the island, there were plenty of chairs for everyone, good bathrooms, breakfast and lunch (which were both plentiful and delicious), good drinks (extra charge) and of course an amazing beach. There was plenty of time to explore the island (lighthouse, ship deck, etc) and plenty of time to relax. Would recommend exploring early in the day as it gets hot! The crew was friendly and knowledgable. I would definitely recommend and would 100% do it again next time we’re in Curaçao.

5.00This was our fifth time going out with Mermaid Boat Trips, and once again, it was an absolutely unforgettable experience! Every trip with them is a true pleasure. The professionalism of the crew, the quality of the food, the stunning locations — everything is simply magical. What makes it even more special is having access to their private beach house — it truly adds a unique and exclusive touch to the day. Everything is perfectly organized with great facilities, including clean toilets and fresh water showers, which makes the experience even more comfortable. They also provide snorkeling gear so you can fully enjoy the beautiful underwater world, and there are unlimited drinks available throughout the day, including soft drinks — everything you need to relax and have an amazing time. The crew is always perfect: friendly, attentive, and incredibly skilled. They make you feel welcome and ensure that every moment on board is enjoyable and relaxing. We highly, highly recommend Mermaid Boat Trips to anyone visiting Curaçao. It’s always a pleasure, and we can’t wait to go again!
