This tour takes you to a few spectacular places on the slopes of Kozjak and Mosor mountains!
Klis Fortress tour is first on the itinerary. This fortress, located between mountains Mosor and Kozjak has played an important role in history being the strategic point between the coast and the hinterland of Dalmatia. Croatian dukes and kings hold it as part of their kingdom but the most famous role fortress had in the wars with the Ottoman empire and its group of Klis ambushers.
After the Klis Fortress tour, we will visit ethno-agro park Stella Croatica. Here you will see the production of local plant products and pastries. The guide of Stella Croatica will explain everything about olive history and its cultivation during the visit to the Olive Museum which is part of the whole park.
The last stop is Vranjača cave, a breathtaking geological monument. Vranjača cave is the underground world of stalactites and stalagmites that has been shaped by water for a thousand years.

5.00We LOVED our private tour with Mario! He picked us up directly from the hotel. We got to Klis' fortress early, so we had the site to ourselves. He explained the story really well, it was super interesting. We then went to Stella Croatica (olive oil museum). We enjoyed seeing the creation process, but even more taste the products and bring back some for our loved ones. Finally, we visited the cave of Vranjaca. This is super impressive site! Again, we were almost alone, so we really got to take our time and appreciate the beauty of the place. Thank you Mario for a wonderful day!

He was able to tell us so much about the history of the fort. Stella Croatica and Vranjaca Cave were also on our tour and very interesting. Day started right in time and Mario with patience, professionalism and a pleasant yet informative conversation will guide through a fascinating trip tobKlis fortress with plenty to see then Stella Croatia where we experienced a true insight into the natural, cultural and gastronomic heritage of Dalmatian. 5.00It was a great tour we had. Mario was very kind and good company. He was very good at telling us about the history in the area, with personal enthusiasm. He gave us a relaxing and exciting tour around the fortress, building up the history and information in a clear and understandable way, you wanna hear how it goes on. At Stella9 he waitet patiently for us while we had a tour at there olive oil museum. They have very great products with the opportunity to taste very good olive oil. At the cave it was clear he had been there before - of course one might think - but he enjoyed it himself it seemed and knew the landowner. The caves are a very special place. We recommend this tour. The places and history are interesting and exciting. Going with Mario is the first thing we have been telling our friends and family about. Your tour will be better with him.
