His passion for his work, his in-depth knowledge of the area, and his attention and sensitivity towards us participants transformed a pleasant day immersed in the lush nature of Sri Lanka into an adventurous unforgettable day, enlivened by stories and, above all, by the delicious lunch prepared by his wife. 5.00My wife and I booked the hike to rhe Knuckles mountains without knowing what to expect. We were introduced to our guide Sumeda, who is a source of all kind of information about the fauna and flora during the trip. Although my wife had some difficulties due to the intense hike, Sumeda took care of her with caring and patience. The tegion is really wonderfull to explore. A must see and do, with the expertise of the guide ! We had a great time even we did not reached the top.

5.00The weather did not help us, we started with rain wind and fog that increased in the path. Despite this, beautiful experience through a path made of different landscapes... forest, waterfalls .. a paradise. Sumeda our guidance was crucial. Person prepared empathetic and friendly showed us many varieties of plants, animals, flowers, explaining in a precise but never boring a "world" so special Unesco heritage. The route is certainly challenging but Sumeda has always helped me overcome the most difficult parts of the trail, with care and attention. He had prepared for us a packed lunch that we enjoyed very much .. If you are going to visit the mountains of Knukles arm yourself with good hiking shoes and rely on Sumeda, he is a special person who has guided us at best in this not easy but worth all the effort. Thanks for ❤️

5.00Sumeda is a great guide and a great personality . Besides guiding you safely on your tour, he also has extensive knowledge of all the things you see along the way, herbs, plants, small and larger animals, the names of the mountains in the far distance etc. His wife cooks the most delicious rice curry, which he brings for lunch, yammie! Sumeda is caring, patient, and has a great sense of humor. Thanks to him, I got back safely from an intense hike in the Knuckle Mountains despite the heavy rain showers. I felt very safe.

5.00Sumeda is a wonderful guide. He knows really well the knukkles region. We did 2 hikes with him: one in the Tea plantation of Hatale and one in the knukkles range. He took care of us, speaking a perfect English he showed us endemic birds, lezzards, many plants and flowers. We saw at least 5 different waterfalls and had baths. He helped us to find accommodations for our family of 5 and because my son had fever he found a doctor for us. You Can really trust him for your trip!
