We’ve done 7 tours in Japan and this was by far our favorite. Our guide was Kodai who worked with us to customize our ideal tour which was unlike any other experience. It truly felt like we were hanging out with an old friend. He was very knowledgeable about the local area and history and had an answer for every question. He checked in throughout the tour to ensure we got all the souvenirs, snacks, and breaks we needed. We love Pokémon so he took us to all the TCG stores in the area and helped us find the cards we were looking for. He even called around to help us find a specific souvenir from a local shop. He went above and beyond to give us the most fun and unique tour experience we’ve had in Japan. If you could only pick one tour, it should be this one!

Kodai was a spectacular guide. From helping us navigate Kobe and surrounding areas. It was very patient, professional, knowledgeable, and accommodating. We were able to maneuver, the trains and an occasional taxi when my husband got tired. We were able to cover local markets, temples, castles and an amazing lunch at a local spot. He was very kind made a reservation for us. He is well informed, and I highly recommend his tours.

Our private tour in Kobe with Satori was a fantastic experience! She created a perfect mix of culture, scenery, and fun. We visited a beautiful shrine, enjoyed a unique and playful stop at an animal café, and took in stunning views at the herb garden via the ropeway. Satori was knowledgeable, friendly, and made the entire day feel personal and relaxed. Highly recommend her for anyone looking to explore Kobe in a memorable way!

Kodai is the perfect guide he took great attention to our needs and preferences for our tour. The visit was very well planned we saw the main attractions and Kodai is very knowledgeable he knows his city and the history that makes Kobe a fantastic city. We wanted to experience of having a traditional he took us to wonderful restaurant where we had dishes from Japan.. The visit of Kobe with Kojail was very nice in all aspects. Do not hesitate to take the tour!

The experience in Kobe was beyond our expectations. Kodai met us at the cruise terminal and with his extensive knowledge of the city and its history he led us throughout its many sites. We visited several shrines and explained the significance of each along with brief visits to the Kobe beef museum and Sake distillery. We experienced a wonderful authentic Japanese lunch and he assisted us in procuring some items of our interest such as an exquisite Japanese Chef knife and watch repair. Lunch and taxi costs were fair and reasonable. Kodai san English was amazing and there was no language barrier. We would highly recommend this tour for any travelers seeking an overview of the city. If we ever get back I will certainly look him up again.
