Mt. Rokko
Mount Rokko (六甲山, Rokkōsan, 931 meters) is the highest peak in the Rokko mountain range, which provides the pleasant green backdrop to the city of Kobe. Panoramic views of the heavily urbanized Hanshin region (Kobe and Osaka) can be enjoyed from the mountain and are particularly spectacular around sunset.
Shin-Kobe Trail
Shin-Kobe Ropeway (新神戸ロープウェー) is one of three services that lifts tourists up the southern slopes of the Rokko mountain chain. The ropeway departs from next to Shin-Kobe Station, Kobe's shinkansen station. As it ascends, it passes by the Nunobiki Waterfall and the Nunobiki Herb Garden, giving a nice aerial view of both. The highlight of the ride lies in the observation deck located just beside the top station, which offers spectacular views of Kobe and is a popular night view spot.

5.00We had a fantastic time with Masa our guide. He was very accomodating and looked after us so well! The herb garden was amazing and the Kobe beef restaurant was an experience we will always remember. Thankyou Masa for giving us great memories!!!

5.00Yama-san was a great guide. We covered 4 of the major sights in Kobe during our half day tour. We started the tour with the Nunobiki Herb Gardens. We took the gondola up to the top of the mountain which offered great views of Kobe as well as a small exhibition of the uses of the various herbs. Our next stop was the Akashi Kaikyo Bridge in the Maiko Marine Promenade. After that we went to Nankinmachi Chinatown and we ended our tour in the Sannomiya area. As we walked around, Yama-san provided a lot of local insights as well being a private photographer. All in all great experience, highly recommended for any who wants to get a taste of Kobe in a short amount of time.

5.00We spent 4 hours in Kobe ofc the ship with Yama going to Saki factory (the lemon Saki is delicious). Rode train, walked 4 miles, favorite was Shinto temple! He is most charming. Lovable guide.. so happy we had him❤️

5.00Yama-san was a humorous, knowledgeable and absolutely wonderful guide. Our tour exceeded by an hour but he was still very gracious and generous with his time. We got a very good understanding of Kobe city during the 5 hours we had with him and would certainly hope to have another tour with him again.

5.00My husband and I and our 2 friends booked a private Viator/JGA Kobe shore excursion day tour with Chiyuki and we had a wonderful time. Chiyuki is very nice, polite, knowledgeable, and professional. She showed us many interesting sites and took us to an excellent restaurant in Kobe which we thoroughly enjoyed. Thanks again Chiyuki!

5.00Harumi was a great guide! She took us up the cable cars on Mt Rokko to the Herb Gardens which were beautiful with the fall foliage. We then went to the Ibuka Shrine and she explained the procedures and what each gate stood for. Finally we went to China Town for lunch and Harumi also walked us through the market arcade helping us find good stores. She was very knowledgeable, personable, and easy to understand. She even taught us oragimi!
