Koh Tao
Koh Tao is pretty much the archetype of a remote tropical island, with just enough places to eat, shop and stay to make it comfortable. There are few attractions other than the beautiful beaches. The island is home to some of Thailand’s best coastlines, with pristine white sand, nodding palm trees and glittering blue seas. There are many to choose from, most of which are accessible along the small and rather rough road network. Other than beaches, there are a few very nice viewpoints that are worth seeing, some of which are so iconic that they might even be the first thing you think of when you picture Thailand. Koh Tao is also famous for its diving, which is said to be among the best in the world.
(2 Hours) Koh Nangyuan is actually a group of 3 tiny islets off Koh Tao’s northwest coast. You can get to them by Royal Mariblue one day trip. The beach that links the islands together is iconic and probably the most photographed part of the area. Naturally, the small beach. (1 Hours) Japanese Gardens On the incredibly beautiful island of Koh Nang Yuan you will find the amazingly beautiful bay known as Japanese Gardens. So called due to the rich variety of coral and underwater fauna to be found spread over a large bay, here this dive site is the perfect place to either refresh oneself. (1 Hours) Sit back on the boat for and included delicious buffet lunch white overlooking Nangyuan Island and Mango Bay

A great day of snorkelling!

4.00A great value day and for the most part a very enjoyable one. We snorkelled in 5 different spots, and the food provided was excellent. The guides were also good and got some great underwater photos of everyone on the tour. However, as someone who works in conservation, there were a few niggles that are hard to look past. There was no briefing on how to behave in a coral reef or around wildlife, and I observed people from our boat standing on coral and not being at all careful with where they were putting their fins when swimming through reefs. It’s easy to forget your feet are a lot longer when wearing fins and some people could have done with a reminder of this. We were taken into a pretty shallow reef to see baby blacktip reef sharks which was challenging snorkelling conditions and something I don’t feel is well suited to beginners or inexperienced snorkellers. This could be improved by mandatory life jackets for that site specifically to help people feel more comfortable floating and keep them from knocking or standing on the corals and sponges. This takes me on to my second point. Particularly at Koh Nang Yuan, but in all sites where sharks were present, there was a disappointing amount of chasing occurring. This was not only by tour participants, but by guides as well, and this is a more general comment rather than specifically for this tour. Chasing any wildlife is stressful not only for the animal, but for the people caught up in the chaos of the chasing. Remaining calm and quiet will almost always result in better views, as those animals are always going to swim faster than any human can, and particularly so if they are swimming to get away from a crowd. A more relaxed observer means a more relaxed animal, it’s as simple as that. These sharks and turtles are wild, they don’t care if we get our photo or not and they don’t owe us anything. I understand that the guides want everyone to see the wildlife but chasing them is not the way to do it. Overall it was a brilliant day with some excellent snorkelling locations providing some equally excellent wildlife!

5.00Unforgettable day – highly recommended! We had a fantastic time on the SunSet Magic Snorkeling Tour around Koh Tao and to Koh Nangyuan – everything just fit perfectly! From the hotel pickup service throughout the day we felt super looked after and supported.  Snorkeling at several impressive spots was a real highlight – the corals and fish world around the islands are simply beautiful. The crew was friendly, professional and always attentive, and we even got underwater photos, which makes the memory of that day even more special. The lunch buffet on board was delicious and rich, and the BBQ dinner at sunset was the perfect end to the day – with breathtaking views and great atmosphere.  We especially loved the small, personal group (we were only nine people on board), which made the day cozy and relaxed – no comparison to crowded large boat tours.  💯 Top Tour, great team and a great success – we can highly recommend this experience to everyone!

5.00We had an absolutely fantastic day out with Zin and the Royal Mariblue Koh Tao team. The entire experience was memorable from start to finish. The boat is small and intimate, which made the trip feel personal and far more enjoyable than the larger, overcrowded tours on the island. The snorkeling was incredible, and the team went out of their way to capture amazing underwater photos for us. We also loved being able to enjoy SUP and kayaking during the day — such a great added bonus! Lunch was delicious, and the sunset BBQ dinner was the perfect way to end the day. It truly felt like a full-day experience that offered outstanding value for money. Thank you to Zin and the whole crew for the warm hospitality and for making it such a wonderful and unforgettable day. Highly recommended!

5.00Super recommended experience, boat that does not accommodate more than 20 people so small group with which you can better enjoy the whole day on the boat, excellent boat services. Super friendly and efficient crew, beautiful snorkeling tour managing to see the sharks and turtles. Recommended!

5.00Fantastic full day of snorkeling! Very small group (3 on my day) so you are not one of the teeming masses like on other tours. Everything is included and taken care of. You pay more, obviously, but I’m so glad I prioritized the experience over expense.

5.00We booked the VIP tour and it was worth it all - nice food and drinks, a small group in contrast to all the boats with dozens of people, but above all a very nice crew and snorkling guide who showed us beautiful corals, baby sharks and turtles next to all the other colourful sea life!

5.00This is the best trip you will book! Lucky our guide was absolutely brilliant, we saw every kind of fish, coral, huge turtles, baby sharks, the food and drink on board is exceptional, the transfer service punctual!!! Spend a little extra and go for this tour rather than the ones with too many people … this is the second time I’ve done this trip!!! Fantastic!!!
