  Absolutely amazing experience. Naz was the BEST guide, and every part of the tour was incredible - great hikes, views, comfortable bus and yurt experience and a great group of people. And the stars at night by the yurts were underrated, saw many shooting stars! I went solo and this experience went as well as I possibly could have hoped. I would recommend this to anyone in Almaty!

  It was wonderful experience of this 2 day tour.Najerke was great host and our guide.She made us feel comfortable at each and every moment of tour.Food was good.Intermittent breaks during bus journey were adequate enough to make your journey easy.There is adequate water arrangements on bus ( so need to get panic).Green valley yurt stay was excellent(karaoke night and bon-fire makes whole group like small family).Would recommend the tour to my friends…enjoy

  I had the best time with KazGuided Tours, especially with our guide, Vlad. He was funny, very friendly and was always patient and helpful. On the first day you get to see some really cool canyons and Kolsai Lake, which is beautiful. You can row or pedal a boat for a fee, which I highly recommend doing. It turned out to be everyone's favourite part. I loved the yurt stay. We were 5 in a yurt, but it was extremely spacious and comfortable. Small towels and toothbrushes are provided, though it can get cold at night. There are also only 4 communal showers shared among the yurts, but I never had to wait too long. The toilets were very clean. We had a karaoke session and bonfire at night after dinner, which were really nice and everyone got along very well. The yurt complex also has charging outlets, wifi and signal! On the second day after breakfast you get to either walk or go on horseback to Kaindy Lake. The horseback experience was fun especially when it got quite steep at certain areas, but the views were stunning. The horses seem to be taken care of well, though some of the guys seem to be quite rough with them, which we didn't like. Charyn Canyon was gorgeous and worth the hike up to the edge, but be very careful as it can get sandy and steep with a very high drop. Overall I highly recommend this tour, especially if you're travelling solo. It's a great way to make friends. Huge shoutout to Vlad for being a star guide. My only critique is that while meals were delicious, there were too many sweet options (biscuits, candies) and too little savory ones (soups, rice, meat, etc), but they were all very good.

  

  

  

• Lied to and robbed off our main experience

  It seemed like the guide was rushing us. On our second day, according to the itinerary, we were meant to go to charyn canyon and get a chance to walk into the canyon and walk to the river. It was my birthday and meant to be the highlight of my trip. However, the guide did not let us do that and said we were only to walk at the top and gave us a only a little time where we even had to rush to walk along the length of the top. Furthermore, he kept saying proudly how we were 2 hours ahead of schedule (a lie as we were robbed off time and experiences at other locations) and getting back to Almaty at 7 pm when we should have left Charyn at 6pm. I messaged the company about this and got a very poor response with no resolution. it's not often that people get to travel, and to be lied to and not given any resolution or explanation is extremely poor. I spoke to friends who went on this exact tour with different guides and they had plenty more time at other locations and even got to walk down into the canyon.

  

• My first-time at Kazakhstan and with KazGuided Tours

  I booked my tour with them last April 2026, and it was one of the trips I enjoyed the most. Aside from meeting new friends from different countries, I really commend how Kazguided Tours handled our trip. From actively responding to my concerns before the tour to addressing our queries during the trip, they were always efficient. I also appreciated the spacious bus we used during the two-day tour, as it provided comfort during the long hours of transit. The guesthouse was neat, and I slept safe and sound. The lunch was filled with Kazakhstan’s local delicacies, which gave me an authentic local experience. And of course, our tour guide, Zhenis, was always on the go whenever we needed him throughout the entire trip. I would highly recommend them.

  

  

  

• A wonderful experience.

  We had a very fulfilling experience! At first, I was worried about spending two days with others because I participated alone, but there were many participants alone, and I was able to open up and interact a lot while eating and doing things together. Of course, there were a lot of family participants. The schedule was divided into two days, so it was quite generous. If you're a loose guide and want a detailed description of the place and history, you might want to take another tour. I felt comfortable with this loose feeling. Activities include horseback riding on Lake Kindy (it was 7000KZT) with amazing mountain views. In Lake Corsaï, you could wear national costumes and take pictures with dogs and eagles (3000 KZT each). You can follow a guide around Charyn Canyon, but if you're looking at the canyon from above, you should separate. Although I joined in May, the nights spent in the yurt were quite cold and I strongly recommend to wear warm clothes. It is also recommended to allow extra time when scheduling your trip to return to the city at around 9pm. Thank you for the wonderful experience!

  All the spots we went to were stunningly beautiful. Itinerary was reasonable and it doesn’t feel too rushed or dragging. Our guide, Serzhan speaks fluent English and was extremely friendly and professional. He took care of us well and had good banters. All the places were thoroughly introduced. Had some local cuisines and stayed in Yurts. Had a great time with our fellow travellers in front of the bonfire at night.

  This tour exceeded all my expectations. Right from the vehicles, as in a proper bus with even a water dispenser so we didn't have to buy water plus a trash disposal, then more comfortable bigger vehicles, as in small buses wherever possible instead of the vans. The driver was very good too, and drove so smoothly over the curves. Then the choice of accomodation. They chose a wonderful site, which is not in the somewhat crowded Saty village, but somewhere out in beautiful nature. And lastly, our tour guide Naz, she was just fantastic. Her English is excellent, she is always smiling and very very helpful. Totally 5 star.
