  Drew was a fantastic birding guide. Learned a lot about local birds, the forest and his grandfather's efforts to restore it. Worth the time and price.

  There were 10 in our group and everyone loved it on a lot of levels. It was wonderful just to experience the cloud forest and the guide was both professional and friendly and her information enhanced the walk greatly. It was a whole other level of experiencing nature on big island and made for a memorable experience for all.

• Would go on the longer tour next time!

  The tour was great! Went about a week after the big storm, and it was very walkable. The pace was good and the guide, Sierra, was very knowledgeable about the history, flora & fauna, and development of the site. My favorite thing was actually seeing rainbow eucalyptus trees. 😃

  My kid absolutely adored this tour through the cloud forest. The guide, Heather, was wonderful for taking the time to field 100 questions from a nature-loving 8 yr old. Easy drive up from Kona. Temperature was cool, but a light jacket was fine. Bugspray recommended.

  Absolutely incredible. Started our 10yr anniversary with a grounding hike. Not only was the Forrest so sacred hearing the story behind it was beyond beautiful. It was a heartwarming and emotioning hike. Absolutely loved it

  We had a wonderful experience! I learned so much about this forest and the Hawaiian floral. Our tour guide was excellent.

  Pricey $110/pp but so is everything else in Hawaii. That said the walk through the forest was very educational and enjoyable. Rained on us a bit but to be expected in a cloud forest

  This was a great tour! I went with my sister and two kids (10 & 12). It had enough substance to intrigue the adults and enough “cool stuff” (as my 10 year old put it, so that the kids were entertained.
