Swimming with magical giants as they dance and float right in front of your eyes is a truly magical Kona experience!
Our night manta ray snorkel tours begin departing at 6 p.m. and run until 10 p.m. and last about an hour.
Important note:
-Participants must be experienced swimmers and in good health in order to participate.
-Must have basic snorkeling experience.
-Weight Policy: Anyone 260 and over (not to exceed 320) is required to purchase an additional seat.

All participants must be experienced swimmers and have snorkel experience. Children must be 5 and over to board the boat. Due to the type of boat we operate (RHIB) we are unable to allow service animals on board.

Guarantee Sightings. If there are no sightings, we do not offer refunds but we do offer a FREE RERIDE. *If you are purchasing a NOT SNORKELING ticket please be advised that there is no guarantee of seeing manta rays from the boat. With check-in time, boat travel, and water time: Total time is around 1.2 hours. (25-30 of that is water time). We operate a smaller boat; a 23 foot RHIB (Zodiac style) boat and take 11 passengers. Tour duration from departure to return is about 50 minutes in length which includes 25-30 minutes of water time. Important note: -Participants must be experienced swimmers and in good health in order to participate. -Must have basic snorkeling experience. -Casual Use Life Jackets are not provided unless 13 years of age and under. -Weight Policy: Anyone 260 and over (not to exceed 320) is required to purchase an additional seat. -Wetsuits are optional and available to rent at check-in. -Please do not bring valuables as we do not have an office and you will need to keep your belongings in your own vehicle. -Tour times are subject to change. -Ocean conditions can change without notice; choppy ocean conditions may occur.

5.00Tour was amazing. We saw so many mantas even our guide was surprised. Smaller group than I've been with before with another company. This made for a more intimate experience. All of the crew were super helpful and personable.

5.00My partner and I had an incredible time seeing manta rays with My Kona Adventures last week. From check-in to getting the initial briefing, we could see how much friendlier and hospitable our guides were compared to some of the other companies leaving the bay. In addition, our tour was much smaller, making for a more personal experience overall. Tako (sp?) was funny and knowledgeable and was a great in-water guide while Mike driving the boat also gave us a few laughs. Another man was part of the crew but I missed his name! All so friendly and excited to do their jobs it seemed. The two folks checking us in were also super sweet. I definitely recommend this company for value and experience 🤿

2.00Crew was awesome but felt rushed and was a mediocre experience. All the other groups were in a good spot (based on what we heard them say) so it would’ve been nice if the effort was made to shift us. Totally understand animals are unpredictable

3.00It could have been great except for one super loud mouth younger guy with an afro with his girlfriend- would not shut up the whole time. He had his head out of the water joking and laughing with his girlfriend and trashing his feet around the whole time. He even kicked my wife in the forehead as he wouldn't keep his feet out straight on a noodle. The board lead asked him if he wanted to go back to the boat and he said no. The board lead should have said SHTFUP or you will go back to the boat so everyone else can enjoy their experience, but he didn't. Night of Tuesday Nov 4th at 8:15? It was 2nd to last trip of night plus we had to tow another boat in so we were 30 plus mins late back to the dock.

5.00We took our adult kids out on this adventure, and we all had an amazing time! The whole staff and crew are so helpful and informative. We got to see several manta rays, and one massive one swam right up under us, even touching one of the snorkelers as it swam by eating the plankton. Even watching the plankton and other fish swim under the lights of our paddle board was mesmerizing. Our daughter is terrified of ocean water, especially in the dark, but she was able to do it because it was well lit and had many other people in the water surrounding us.

5.00It was the most wonderful experience. The crew is very welcoming and friendly and very clear with their instructions. To see these magnificent creatures doing what they do was a sight to behold. I highly recommend this company and this must do activity .
