Swimming with magical giants as they dance and float right in front of your eyes is a truly magical Kona experience!
Our night manta ray snorkel tours begin departing at 6 p.m. and run until 10 p.m. and last about an hour.
Important note:
-Participants must be experienced swimmers and in good health in order to participate.
-Must have basic snorkeling experience.
-Weight Policy: Anyone 260 and over (not to exceed 320) is required to purchase an additional seat.

All participants must be experienced swimmers and have snorkel experience. Children must be 5 and over to board the boat. Due to the type of boat we operate (RHIB) we are unable to allow service animals on board.

If there are no sightings, we do not offer refunds, but we do offer a FREE RERIDE. *If you are purchasing a "NOT SNORKELING" ticket, please be advised that there is no guarantee of seeing manta rays from the boat. With check-in time, boat travel, and water time: Total time is around 1.2 hours. (25-30 of that is water time). We operate a smaller boat; a 23 foot RHIB (Zodiac style) boat and take 11 passengers. Tour duration from departure to return is about 50 minutes in length, which includes 25-30 minutes of water time. Important note: -Participants must be experienced swimmers and in good health in order to participate. -Must have basic snorkeling experience. -Casual Use Life Jackets are not provided unless 13 years of age and under. -Weight Policy: Anyone 260 and over (not to exceed 320) is required to purchase an additional seat. -Wetsuits are optional and available to rent at check-in. -Please do not bring valuables as we do not have an office and you will need to keep your belongings in your own vehicle. -Tour times are subject to change. -Ocean conditions can change without notice; choppy ocean conditions may occur.

5.00We saw a total of 3 manta rays, they were so majestic and it was a beautiful experience. Crew members were awesome. I run cold and water temperature was doable without wetsuit.

3.00It was an ok experience, the guide wasn't feeling well so we only ventured out to the mantarays for a very short time (where the other touris were to utilize their lights) and spent most of the time near the boat with no sightings. Also it is much colder than I had expected so a full bodysuit would be nice, its not umbrella tho. If I ever did it again I'd probably use a different company. The staff was all very nice tho.

5.00Highly recommend! We had a very nice experience with My Kona Adventures. The staff were all very friendly, the guide was very knowledgeable about manta rays. I love the small company vibes, and though they are small they are competent and professional. We had originally scheduled for a different night, but high surf caused all tours that night to be cancelled. Thankfully My Kona Adventures was able to reschedule us, and they were very prompt with all their communications. If you’re planning a trip, book a tour early enough in your trip to give time to rebook if weather is bad or if you don’t see manta rays the first try.

5.00Great experience. The deck/water hands were very knowledgeable, not just in the process but also in the knowledge of the manta rays, history, etc. great experience.
Amazing small group experience, highly recommended. Capt Mike, Tako and K did a great job. We saw several manta reys.

5.00Communication on where to meet and what to expect were clear. We were glad they had wetsuit tops available for rent. Parking is a bit of a nightmare, we got lucky on our second pass through that someone left and we got a sweet spot right by the meeting point. Capt Mike, Tako and Kai were great! Tako did a great job moving us to where to see the mantas and providing information about them. We saw several mantas! We were glad we went with My Kona Adventures as there were just 11 of us on our boat. We saw other boats with way more people and can’t imagine going with so many.

5.00The most amazing experience ive ever had.! The mantas were so peaceful and majestic. We had about 6 or so swimming around us during the trip and they were swimming so close. It was an experience of a lifetime. The crew were awesome. Very funny, helpful and provided ao much knowledge. 10/10 would recommend.!

5.00Such a cool experience! Our guide was amazing and so kind. We saw probably 7 mantarays. Such beautiful creatures, but be prepared for a bit of an arm workout. I came here straight after the airport and my biceps were exhausted!

5.00Do not miss it! This company was so great and we loved everyone from Jen at check in to the Captain to the water guide. The Mantas were magical, we saw 5! I do recommend the wetsuit. They have tops for $10, which was very worth it.
