Erica’s tour was excellent! She was so knowledgeable and enthusiastic. I ended up sharing some of her facts with people I overheard from another tour whose guide hadn’t covered as much. We also got lucky with perfect views at the observatory. Highly recommend!

I visited the DMZ with Seoul City Tour on a cold and wet day. Visibility was low from the observation tower and yet this was still an extraordinary and moving experience. This is a place you have to see in person to really understand. And yes, you can see life in North Korea. Our tour guide, AJ, was a wealth of information, personable, and funny. Her pacing and explanations were perfect. She sprinkled jokes throughout her presentations and made you feel like you were traveling with a group of friends. AJ also shared images during and after the tour to ensure we were all understanding what we were seeing and experiencing. I wouldn’t have known a quarter of what I do know about the DMZ if I were with a less fun and knowledgeable tour guide. Be forewarned that trekking the 3rd infiltration tunnel is a work out, but it’s a highlight of the tour. Your legs will be sore after the steep 400 long meter descent underground to the depth of 72m below group. You may also get coal on your clothing. Your feet will get wet. You will need water afterwards. Do it anyway. Should you visit the DMZ? If you like history and want to better understand the relationship between the North and South, yes, absolutely.

Chloe from Seoul City Tours was incredibly knowledgeable and pleasant. We had a scheduling mishap (my fault) and she was beyond helpful in ensuring our group of 7 caught up with the tour. Chloe’s sunny sense of humor was deeply appreciated by the entire tour group. The bus driver was also excellent. 1000% recommend Chloe and Seoul City Tours. Thanks to Chloe for the unforgettable DMZ experience!

A jam packed day in the DMZ. Note that due to military activity some aspects may change last minute. All went to plan for us which meant we had a quite tight schedule at each stop. It was a little rushed but understandable to fit it all in. The highlights were the Q&A with the North Korean defector and seeing into North Korea from the observatory. Our guide Yoon was excellent.
