Donji Stoliv
Driving from Kotor toward Donji Stoliv reveals one of the most scenic coastal routes in Montenegro. The narrow waterfront road follows the curve of the UNESCO-listed Bay of Kotor, passing stone houses with terracotta roofs, small family docks, and traditional “konoba” restaurants known for fresh fish and local olive oil. Fishing boats line the calm bays, and the smell of pine and sea salt fills the air as the mountains rise sharply above the shoreline. Along the way, travelers see quiet villages, medieval churches, and old Venetian facades that reflect the region’s centuries of maritime history. Nature blends seamlessly with culture here: turquoise water on one side, forested hills and terraced gardens on the other. 5.00Such a fun and different way to experience Boka Bay! Instead of staying in the crowds, we got to explore hidden roads, old fortresses and amazing viewpoints that we would never find on our own. The atmosphere during the whole tour was great — relaxed, friendly and full of good energy. Highly recommend Go Baloo if you want something memorable and a little different from the usual tours.

5.00The best jeep tour I’ve ever experienced! The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making the whole trip enjoyable from start to finish. The viewpoints were absolutely breathtaking, with stunning panoramic views. The picnic overlooking the sea was the perfect touch and made the experience even more memorable. Highly recommended!

5.00Wonderful experience out of the crowds in Kotor! We thoroughly enjoyed our time. The visit to the village and church is only possible through someone with access and it was so interesting to step back in time. The views from the top of the peninsula were gorgeous and again, uncrowded and quiet. We highly recommend. Booking and communication were easy and they even started early for us since no one else joined that day.

5.00We had a very good time, this tour is well off the beaten path and exciting. Our Guide drivers were knowledgeable, professional and courteous. While some of the off-roading seemed precarious, Milan and Petar always kept us safe. The picnic was fun with all of the animals and the views were spectacular. It was very well done and I would highly recommend this adventure especially for the price. It was an excellent value.

5.00This was a very fun outing for the day. The weather was beautiful and our guide Milan was fun and very insightful. He was also an excellent driver and I was so impressed with his ability to drive to the remote locations on very tricky terrain. The views were beautiful but my favorite part of the tour was the picnic at the end of the tour. The other travelers and Milan and I had a great time chatting and enjoying a traditional Montenegro lunch. I highly recommend this tour and Milan as the guide!

5.00The drive along the coast to get to the road leading up to the hidden church was beautiful and the 4 wheel drive was fun and challenging. Our driver was very good at maneuvering the tight turns and rough terrain. The hike up to the church presented outstanding views over the bay. It was very interesting to see a well preserved church that was not easily accessible. After visiting the church we had a very lovely and relaxing time for some local snacks and drinks. We thoroughly enjoyed this activity and would recommend it to others.

5.00I mistakenly booked a tour too far from where our cruise ship docked and I didn’t realize it until 2 hours before our tour. The tour group could have cancelled and kept our money but instead they arranged a wonderful alternative!! We had an amazing day in Bar with Duro (George), who met us at the port, took us to see the 2,000 year old olive tree and the Old City. He was so knowledgeable about the history and culture of the area. Then we went to a waterfall before he took us to a local restaurant where we seemed to be the only tourists. The food was delicious and affordable. I can’t say enough about how professional and accommodating he was, especially given the last minute plans. You can feel very confident in booking with this tour group and consider yourself blessed if you get a tour from Duro!
