This historic square was a Jewish market in the pre-war days, with its rotunda serving as a kosher slaughterhouse. Today you'll still find butcher shops inside, while fast food windows line the exterior - mostly selling 'zapiekanki,' the local street food. Here you will have to look around to find the answer to our challenge to advance to the new location and learn the story of this place.
The Izaak Synagogue, formally known as the Isaak Jakubowicz Synagogue, is an Orthodox Jewish synagogue from 1644 situated in the historic Kazimierz district of Kraków, Poland. The synagogue is named for its donor, Izaak Jakubowicz, also called Isaac the Rich, a banker to King Ladislaus IV of Poland. Here you will have to look around to find the answer to our challenge to advance to the new location and learn the story of this place.
