As a local experienced guide with native English fluency and a background in social sciences (PhD), event organizing and comedy I will make sure to answer all your questions in an entertaining and informative way. I will provide the main points of interest regarding Polish history, culture, cuisine, art, daily life, politics and international relations.
During the tour I will share the best recommendations for what to do in the city, as we will pass by Kraków's main landmarks, but also the most important museums, churches, cultural establishments, restaurants, and bars. Matejko Square
Plac Matejki, the historical entrance to Kraków and starting point of the tour, has numerous locations of interest: churches, statues, university buildings. It is also a lovely place to take photos.
St. Florian's Gate
Kraków was selected to be the capital of Poland for its defensive properties. A section of the the once great city walls remains intact until today and it is rich with history and legends, especially pertaining to Saint Florian.

5.00Konrad is an exceptional tour guide! His deep knowledge and enthusiasm for the city's rich history really made the landmarks come alive. I'm not a big fan of history but somehow I can listen to his engaging stories for hours without getting bored. He also knows all the best spots to take photos and enjoy authentic polish cuisine. He's like an encyclopedia of interesting facts of the land, always answering all your curious questions in a helpful and interesting manner.
