Christopher gave us a combination of driving and walking tour of Krakow. It was a wonderful day of learning about the city's history and seeing the sites. He made history become alive with his vivid descriptions and extensive knowledge. We highly recommend him. He will make you feel welcome and relaxed.

We had a spectacular experience with Christopher as our guide. My wife and I came to Krakow to relax, to get to know Poland better, and to learn history - and Christopher was essential to all three. He personalized the tours of Auschwitz and Krakow to suite our interests for two days. He was a joy to work with and to meet. He's the rare guide who combines the best of all guide-types: he's warm and friendly, he's super knowledgable about history and culture, and he's excellent with details and logistics. He provided fascinating stories, clearly presented complex historical issues, was fun to hang with, and he even helped secure us some lunch and dinner reservations. He gets our highest recommendation.

We were fortunate to spend several hours touring Krakow last week with Christopher from Private Tours Krakow. It was an absolute pleasure to be guided by someone so kind, informative and fun. We learned so much about the past and present of Krakow, including some deeply troubling events as well as some deeply inspiring. Christopher picked us up timely at our hotel in a comfortable van where we spent some of the day touring, and a bit of walking as well. When lunchtime came, he recommended a great traditional restaurant tucked away from many tourists and at our invitation joined us for delicious Polish food. He also recommended a fantastic, reasonably priced restaurant in Old Town for a later dinner (and at our request called for our reservation). At the tour's end we felt we had been shown so much of the past and present Krakow by an extremely knowledgeable family friend. We recommend Christopher and his group whole heartedly. 5++ stars.

Our guided tours with Christopher was without a doubt the highlight of our trip to Poland. We live in Chicago, but our ancestors originated from Poland many years ago. Chris not only showed us so much in Krakow and beyond (we also had him take us to Zakopane and Slovakia) but he also taught us a lot about Polish history. He is so knowledgeable about all things Poland related. If you are coming to Krakow, you must book Chris! We can’t wait to visit again someday and see more of Poland with our fav guide.

We thoroughly enjoyed our two days with Chris Skutela, a gracious and knowledgeable guide whose expertise on the Polish landscape and its history is extremely noteworthy. Even our companion on this visit, a Polish native thoroughly knowledgeable in the regional socio-economic history, was impressed with Chris Skutela's mastery of historical, geographic, and socio-economic significance of the varied regions we visited in this highly instructive tour. Can't recommend Chris and his skills highly enough!

We spent two full days with Christopher and two other guides. We went to Auschwitz, the salt mines, Schindler’s factory, the Jewish Quarter and walked all around Krakow. It was such an amazing experience. All of the guides were A+. They were extremely knowledgeable and we were able to do everything at our own pace and ask lots of questions. It was also fun to discuss local history, issues and other topics. The transportation was also first class. I would absolutely recommend any and all tours with this company. Christopher also set up several reservations for us at local restaurants that were perfect.
