Pick up (Krakow) - The driver will pick you up from the place in Krakow that you chose when making your reservation. Wait for him in front of the hotel / apartment main entrance at the agreed time (or better a few minutes earlier).

Transfer to Szczawnica - Depending on road and weather conditions, the journey takes approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes. Sit back and admire the typical Polish landscapes, which will gradually change from plain to more mountainous, until the picturesque Beskid Mountains appear on the horizon.

5.00Piotr (Peter) was the best tour guide we've ever had, so knowledgeable, down-to-earth and friendly, with exceptional spoken English. Felt completely at ease with him on the all day trip to Dunajec river. Piotr went out of his way to ensure we experienced extra sites as time allowed e.g. wooden church with beautiful stream and local village. The river trip was stunning, as was the chair lift experience (we paid a small fee extra for the tobogan ride at the top). Castle and views also breathtaking looking across to the snow-capped mountains. What made the trip was the experience, local knowledge and personality of our wonderful guide, thanks Piotr, you made this such a special trip that we will never forget!

5.00A Day well spend with this day Trip to Szczawnica from Kraków specially because of our awesome trip coordinator and guide - Peter. He interacted very well with us specially in English.. and kept us well informed about the itenary throughout the trip.He also showed us an old authentic church as bonus on the way to Czorsztyn. Shared lots of facts about places on the way. The wooden rafting was such an amazing n relaxing experience in nature.We also enjoyed a good lunch from a restaurant recommended by Peter. Overall the trip was nice spent enough time in each spots and returned to Kraków by dawn.

5.00Enjoyed a fabulous day trip with Peter, fantastic guide, very knowledgeable and great character. The church we visited was very special and then the stunning raft trip down the Dunajec River was the highlight. With cable car and toboggan run, albeit short was great fun. All in all a fab day with terrific guide. Thanks again Peter all the best.

5.00Peter was amazing from start to finish! Everything was stunning including the veiw from the castle, the rafting experience and the veiw from the mountains. I highly recommend it! Really under rated experience.

5.00Incredible experience Piotr was a wonderful guide knowledgeable and friendly I learned a lot the scenery was something else just amazing so happy we booked this tour we got great weather too definitely one of my top highlights visiting Poland attached photos but they don't convey the true beauty that you see with your eyes!!

5.00Pick up was punctual, car is clean and spacious. Everything went as planned. They send us some helpful notes a day before which we really appreciate (weather, time for lunch etc.). Huge shout out to Peter our driver/guide who is just marvelous! Friendly communication with excellent English (we initially thought he is British haha). Plus stories about our stops and Poland in general during the drive is a bonus. We'd rate him 10/5 stars if that's possible ;) Some things to know: 1. The river rafting has beautiful views, but the explanations are mainly in Polish as the rafters are locals who don't speak much English. Super duper cold too for early Autumn. 2. We missed out mountain cheese tasting as the hut was closed unexpectedly when we arrived (heard the shepherd is busy attending to the sheep?) :( Easily one of the highlights of our Poland trip. Worth every zloty.

Visited the oldest wooden church, Czorsztyn Castle, river rafted down the river Dunajec on the very edge of the Slovakian border, took a cable car up to the the Pieniny mountains where you could see the Tatra mountains and tasted natural Spring waters in Szczawnica. Would highly recommend this trip. Thank you at a Thousand Miles and see you again in January!
