This was an awesome experience. Our tour guide for the bus ride was very informative and gave us a lot of information on the ride to the farm. At the farm, Kristofer was a great host. You can see his passion for moose and gave us a lot of information on them and really went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience. Would definitely recommend to anyone. Only thing is there are alot of people trying to feed the most and get pictures. The guides are good to kep people moving, but just need to be patience. There's more than enough time to see them all

The good: Tour operators were lovely. A gorgeous drive through forests. Why I do not recommend this tour: it’s an hour and 15 minute drive each way with no traffic. You get there with 100+ people and watch a slideshow on the moose for 30 minutes. It was interesting to my husband and I but our children were bored and it was more sitting after sitting on a bus for an hour and 15 minutes. Then the 100+ people go outside and crowd around a corral of 1-5 moose and are 3 rows deep to feed a moose and take a pic for 30 seconds. My kids along 5-6 others preferred the trampoline that was set up. There was other activities like archery and looking at pigs. None of those were announced you kind of just wondered around for 1 hour which was nice give the weather. It would have had more time with time with the moose with less people. Food: the tour is 10:30-3pm so you with need to bring lunch or snacks which the tour says nothing about or order from a very limited menu of about 3-5 things- waffle, venison burger, ice cream at the farm. A waffle and coffee or kids juice did come with the tour which was nice. Then you get on the bus and drive 1 hour 15 minutes back ultimately spending more time on the bus than at the farm. If this was 15 minutes from the city center then yes a fun activity to do or if this tour was limited to 20 or less people per hour but in the current way the tour is operated I would not recommend to anyone.

This was such an amazing tour! Our guide was incredible and when we arrived at the farm, you could tell immediately that Kristoff and his family love what they do and love their animals so much. We got to learn about how the moose grow and change throughout their lifetime and the different personalities of each of the ones that live there. Then we got to have a bunch of time to interact with their beautiful creatures Anna, Olaf, Ben and Benny and feed them and engage with them. I would recommend this tour to anyone! It’s so apparent how much Kristoff enjoys what he’s doing and how passionate he is about giving these sweet giants a great life. Before leaving, his daughter cooked us these delicious waffles too.

Great encounter with some Scandinavian moose! The tour guide was super kind and knowledgeable about the area and the farmer (who the moose belonged to) cared deeply about his critters and educating us on them.

We had a short walk from port to the pickup point. It is an hour drive inland to Elgland. There is a video about an elg (moose) and then the owner, Christian, tells the story about the moose on his property and how the experience will take place. You are given carrots and told how to hold them so you can get pictures. We were able to interact with Anna, Olaf and the two teenager boys. Everyone was able to feed them and pet them, and some even kissed them. There were also two new babies, but we didn’t see them. It was fun and different!
