Batu Caves
Batu Caves is a mogote with a series of limestone caves in Gombak, Selangor, Malaysia. It is located about 13 km (8.1 mi) north of the capital city of Kuala Lumpur. The cave complex contains many Hindu temples, the most popular of which is a shrine dedicated to the deity Murugan. It is the focal point of the Tamil Hindu festival of Thaipusam in Malaysia. The complex also hosts a 43 m (141 ft) high Murugan statue, one of the largest Murugan statues in the world.
Petronas Twin Towers
The Petronas Towers (Malay: Menara Berkembar Petronas), also known as the Petronas Twin Towers and colloquially the KLCC Twin Towers, are an interlinked pair of 88-storey supertall skyscrapers in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, standing at 451.9 metres (1,483 feet). From 1996 to 2004, they were the tallest buildings in the world until they were surpassed by the Taipei 101 building. The Petronas Towers remain the world's tallest twin skyscrapers, surpassing the original World Trade Center towers in New York City, and were the tallest buildings in Malaysia until 2021, when they were surpassed by Merdeka 118. The Petronas Towers are a major landmark of Kuala Lumpur, along with the nearby Kuala Lumpur Tower and Merdeka 118, and are visible in many places across the city.

4.00A driver for the day to take us to the main highlights of Kuala Lumpur. He was not a guide as such but he gave us sine information. He allowed us to choose what we wanted to visit then took us to a ticket office. He seemed a bit disappointed that the only ticketed place we wanted was the Menara. We did not want yo go to the aquarium! We were unable to get tickets to the Menara because we needed 24 hours notice. The company had been in touch a few days before so maybe they could have mentioned that. He took us to a Chocolate Factory which was a shop and also a Batik Textile workshop which was really interesting and we bought some fabric. He was great for easy drop off and pick up. We just messaged him when we were ready. It was an invaluable thing to do in the heat and when you are short of time but be prepared to read your own guide alongside.
