  This tour was not private. We were with 10 other people in a van. This was more of a taxi ride to certain places with time constraints. First they should have told us where we were going. When we got there, there was no explanation of history or facts just take pics and come back to car. Next we were at Batu Caves for 2hours. Some were not going to be able to do that climb because of their age. Others should have been told to eat. We came for sightseeing and to be informed of the wonders of Kuala Lumpar. This tour was not it. The so called guide should have been giving us facts of Kuala Lumpar since it took 1 hr to get from one area to the next. It was very boring to sit in car without music or talking. Traffic was awful.

  We had an amazing day in KL. our driver Jaffar was excellent. He adapted to our needs did a quick detour for an ATM. with a smile.He handled the traffic so well and even found us someone to get out safely at the Batu Caves during a festival.

  1-too much traffic into the city. Driver took an unnecessary detour based on the GPS. Arranged for a pick up time from the Batu caves and he was 30 minutes late while we stood out in the heat. He had an auto incense in the car running, not appreciated. Tour was a private tour with an English speaking guide/driver. He was very friendly, however, basic English and we were not provided any actual information on the sites we went to. Essentially a driver. Due to the traffic we ultimately had him take us back to the ship and didn't see half of the items listed on this tour.

  Batu caves was wonderful but this was the only real highlight so we felt that this tour was relatively expensive

  We spent the day with our guide Saloko who gave us a great time in Kuala Lumpur! He was at the cruise port to pick us up and we promptly headed to our first stop, the Batu Caves. On the way (over an hour drive) he shared information on what was planned for the day, what we were seeing as we drove on the freeway, pointing out the interesting buildings - different schools (international, medical, etc.), the different class of housing developments, etc. He also gave us so much history. Such wonderful conversation! Saloko's English is excellent! After the Batu Caves we went in to the Downtown area and stopped at a market where he recommended places to eat - spicy and not so spicy! - and he was right! Excellent meal! We continued our day driving thru the City and he pointed out so many interesting places. We definitely need to come back to Kuala Lumpur!! Lots more to see! But, Saloko gave us the best overview of Kuala Lumpur. He's also a great photographer who provided us with the ideal spots to get pictures along the way! We felt very lucky to have him show us around! We never felt rushed and the whole day was just relaxed and so enjoyable! We highly recommend his company and him as a driver!
