Sungai Pandan Waterfall

Apart from the teluk cempedak beach, you can also find this breathtaking waterfall in kuantan. It a popular picnic spot in kuantan. They even have a special site for barbecue and camping. If you’re not in the mood to go for a swim, you can go for a light walk around the ‘mystical’ forest by following the jungle trail. Who knows you may be lucky enough to spot the largest endangered species in Asia which is tapir. So if you’re a nature lover, this is the perfect place to visit in kuantan.

It is set against an awesome sight of the Kuantan River flowing past an ancient Mangrove Forest and into the South China Seas. It has become a key focal point for tourists where the magnificent white marbled Sultan Ahmed can be seen from the tower observatory. We were welcomed at the entrance with a photo of a great warrior in traditional outfit and were encouraged to try out the outfit which made a great photo opportunity. A skywalk is available for the brave and a walk up the tower is being set. We were treated with wonderful East Coast fusion food served by a Japanese robot. We even met the manager Mr Zulkifli who gave us his card. This a is a great spring board for seeing other local attractions such as elephant bathing at National Elephant Conservation Centre, Kuala Gandah.
