Explore the sacred birthplace of the Khmer Empire on our full-day tour of Phnom Kulen National Park. Led by an Apsara Authority certified guide, this small-group experience (maximum 14 people) takes you to three remarkable sites: the River of a Thousand Lingas with its ancient underwater carvings, the impressive Reclining Buddha statue atop the mountain, and the refreshing Kulen Waterfall where you can swim in natural pools.
Your day includes hotel pickup from Siem Reap and a delicious local lunch of rice and fried chicken served while you relax at the waterfall. Choose between beer or soft drinks, and enjoy seasonal fruits after lunch.
This leisurely cultural excursion follows gentle jungle trails suitable for all fitness levels.

5.00The trip to Phnom Kulen was wonderful, the view from the plateau was breathtaking, the visit to see the Lingas and the reclining Buddha and finally the magnificent waterfall and swim in the waters was magical. Our guide Nara was very knowledgeable and informative in the history of the area and we learnt a lot about the Hindu and Buddhist religions. Thank you Nara and our driver.

5.00My experience was wonderful . My tour guide was very humble and explained the history of every place very well . The water fall is a serene place . I swam in the waterfall and the tour guide was gracious enough to click some pictures as well .

5.00Really enjoyed this tour - the National Park is absolutely stunning. Mr Tola and Mr Monyrak were great hosts and were very knowledgeable. The waterfall and old city (big Buddha) stops on the tour were a particular favourite!

5.00We had an amazing experience thanks to our guide Chanda. He gave an easy-to-understand account of Phnom Kulen and the formation of the Angkor city. His English was slow and easy to hear, which even beginners could understand. He was friendly and hospitable and took lots of nice pictures for everyone. The skills in the photo are also great. Chanda was very relieved to be a guide.

5.00Our trip to Kulen Waterfall was an unforgettable experience, made even more special by our excellent guide, Lok. From the start, Lok was friendly, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable. He shared fascinating insights about the history, culture, and significance of the area, which added so much depth to the experience beyond simply visiting the sights. What really stood out was Lok’s genuine care and enthusiasm. He ensured the day was smooth, comfortable, and enjoyable for everyone, always checking that we were well looked after and happy. His patience, warm personality, and willingness to answer questions made the tour feel personal and relaxed. Kulen Waterfall itself was beautiful, but having a guide like Lok made the experience truly memorable. We left with a much greater appreciation for the area and some wonderful memories. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Cambodia — and if you have the chance, ask for Lok. Thank you for such a fantastic day!
