• Beautiful trip with guide Mariam

  The tour was great! Nature is amazing, cave is really nice, as well as the canoyns! I really enjoyed! Our guide Mariam was so sweet and very friendly! She made great energy with music and some team games that we played! Driver is also such a kind man, very professional and friendly as well! We had a great time and I recommend Mariam always!

  

  

  

• If it rains, they do not cancel the tour but take you to visit the Prometheus cave and the Martvili waterfalls on foot.

  There was a lack of transparency in specifying how the activities would change during the day in case of adverse weather conditions: we wrote the day before since rain was forecasted, but they told us that the tour was confirmed; however, it would have been more correct to state that the visit to the Prometheus caves would only be done on foot and not by boat, and that the boat visit of the canyons would not take place but only the visit to the Martvili park waterfalls would be conducted: it would have been more appropriate to declare this the evening before departure and allow those who had booked to confirm or cancel their reservation, instead, we were informed only once on board the minivan. Instead of the boat visit of the canyons, we were offered rafting, but I strongly advise against it: a swimsuit or waterproof lower garments and at least water shoes are necessary, yet they got in barefoot. People were only provided with life jackets but not with protective helmets; the descent lasted just under 10 minutes and is a descent along a somewhat turbulent river, with no rapids or jumps, so do not expect adrenaline. For the rest, the guide gave us a brief explanation of Georgian culture only at the beginning of the trip for a few minutes, but during the rest of the trip, he only accompanied us without any explanation, not even at the waterfalls: he was more concerned about receiving a bad review (at least in the cave, there are professional guides who accompany). Another downside was the safety on board the transfer from Tbilisi: the driver on the highway did not respect the speed limit of 80 km/h (we were almost always at 90 km/h) and also made a couple of dangerous overtakes. Even during the journey along the more rural roads, he maintained a high speed despite the presence of many cows, pigs, and free horses on the road, which were used to traffic and therefore crossed suddenly without getting scared. Overall, the cave visit is very fascinating, lasting about an hour, but objectively it is not worth the 8 hours of travel for the round trip.

  

  

  

• Unforgettable experience in Sakartvelo ♥️!

  This was our third trip to SAKARTVELO, and by far the most memorable one — not because of the destination, but because of our guide, Mariam. We have previously traveled with two other companies, and the difference was night and day. From the moment we arrived, Mariam welcomed every single one of us with a genuine warmth and a bright, welcoming smile that immediately set the tone for the day ♥️ ( She was the first one to smile to us in Georgia ). She didn’t wait for the trip to unfold — she took initiative right away with fun icebreaker activities and games that got the entire bus interacting and laughing together. By the time we reached our first stop, everyone on the bus knew each other by name. We played games, shared music from our different home countries, and connected in a way that simply never happened on our previous tours — trips we completed without ever properly meeting the person sitting next to us. Her knowledge of history was impressive and delivered with clear passion. She didn’t just recite information — she told stories, gave context, and made every location feel alive and worth experiencing. She teached us some Georgian words to use. What truly set her apart, though, was how she made us feel as people. She treated every passenger not as a tourist to be managed, but as a friend ♥️ Her energy never faded, her smile never became mechanical, and her genuine care for the group was consistent throughout the entire day. That kind of authentic human connection cannot be trained. It comes from character, and Mariam’s character elevated this trip beyond anything we expected. Even the 5-hour drive felt effortless. We were so engaged with each other and with Mariam that the time simply disappeared — which says everything! As the day ended, saying goodbye was genuinely hard. Nobody wanted it to be over, and that feeling was shared openly across the whole group 😢😢 That is perhaps the highest compliment you can give a guide: that the people she brought together found it difficult to part ways. To make it even more bittersweet — this was our last day in Georgia. And we couldn’t help but think: if only we had found Mariam on our first day, we would have booked every single trip through her. We left the country wishing we had more time, not just to see more of Georgia, but to experience it the way she made us experience it — together, joyfully, and with a guide who genuinely cared. We will absolutely recommend this experience to everyone we know, and we would come back just to travel with Mariam again.   Had such a lovely experience! The nature and scenery were absolutely stunning the canyon views, waterfalls, and cave were genuinely mesmerizing and felt like something out of a dream. A huge thank you to our red-haired tour guide Mariam ❤️ she was incredibly kind, friendly, and welcoming, and made the whole trip much more enjoyable with her positive energy. The journey was a bit long and exhausting, but honestly completely worth it for the unforgettable views. Unfortunately, the boat ride in the canyon and rafting were unavailable due to the weather, but the experience was still amazing overall!

  This was a long day trip, but definetly worrh it, the cave, the canion, the lunch and the people were amazing, our guide Ana was very friendly and took some amazing photos, totally recomend it ✌️

  Really enjoyable day out. Anna was our guide and she was brilliant. Super friendly, energetic, and great with a camera. She took the time giving us photoshoot angles and tips haha Pickup was smooth and easy. The weather wasn't on our side (properly wet and rainy), and unfortunately that meant the Martvili Canyon boats weren't running because there was too much water. A shame, but it's the gamble you take with nature and we all knew that going in. Anna didn't let it dampen the mood at all and kept the energy high throughout. The heavy waterfall gushing down was still a really cool experience to see. Prometheus Cave was still incredible. The scale of it, the formations, the coloured lighting. Genuinely impressive. Only downside was the cave was a bit packed with other people, but I just hung back at the end and Anna gave us some bonus facts and guidance, as well as more photos. I did the zipline too which was 100 GEL (entry ticket is usually 40, but 60 more for the zipline). Also worth flagging the cave entry is 40 GEL, so be prepared for extra expenses. Lunch wasn't included so was also extra (I paid 32 GEL but it was worth it). The Georgian food was honestly the best meal I've personally had so far. It was called Ojakhuri, a traditional family dish of chicken and potatoes. Highly recommend. Overall I would still recommend even knowing the boats got cancelled. Great value, great tour guide too - thanks Anna!

  This was the best tour I've had in Georgia. It is definitely recommended. Ana what a top guide. She helps everyone, gives good info and takes professional photos😉. The best part was the boat trip in the canyons. When you're done it's recommended to have coffee on the terrace. Check the weather before you book this tour!!
