Discover Kutná Hora the comfortable way — without the rushing typical of most tours. Spend a full day exploring in a small group at a relaxed, unhurried pace.
After convenient hotel pickup in Prague, we begin at a rarely visited folk village museum. We peek into traditional huts and learn about Czech crafts and traditions.
After lunch, we explore Kutná Hora, once one of Europe’s richest towns. Visit two cathedrals, stroll cobblestone lanes and see the Royal Mint and Palace. We also stop at viewpoints or meet artisans like a winemaker, ceramicist or jeweler.
We end the day at the Bone Church (Sedlec Ossuary), visiting in the late afternoon when it is usually quieter, before returning to Prague.
Please note: The folk museum is closed on Mondays and in winter (Nov, Dec 31–Mar 15). On these dates, we visit alternatives such as Český Šternberk Castle or the Folk Costume Museum.

Polabske Narodopisne Museum Prerov nad Labem
Your guide will take you through a peaceful countryside museum filled with timbered cottages, barns, and historic interiors that capture centuries of Czech village life. Step inside homes, peek into an old schoolroom or stable, and discover folk traditions — some of which are still alive today. Please note: The open-air museum is closed on Mondays and seasonally in November and from December 31 to March 15. During these dates, we’ll visit another charming site that fits the spirit of the tour.
St Barbara's Cathedral

Awesome day in Kutná Hora and at Sternberk Castle

5.00Ondřej had a wonderfully planned itinerary for our small group as we made our way to two particularly noteworthy spots outside of Prague. First was Sternberk castle which alone was enough to make the tour! We entered early and mostly had the place to ourselves with our guide from the castle. The private collection inside is amazing, you could spend hours inside learning about the family, but the pacing is good so that you can learn but also take some photos. Next was off to Kutna Hora to see a number of famous sights but my highlight was certainly Saint Barbara’s and the silver mint. Ondřej decided we’d give the silver mint a shot at the end of the day and it turned out to be amazing! He’s in good spirits and an easy guy to spend the day with on top of being very accommodating depending on what your interests are. I would recommend this tour to everyone, especially history buffs and if you’re a big fan of kingdom come deliverance like I am!

5.00Excellent full day visit to Cesky Krumlov. Comfortable car. Ondrej was a great driver and excellent tour guide! Just enough free time. Stopped in a historic farm village on the return which was interesting and fun. Great small group tour!

5.00In October, I found my way to Prague, eager to explore what the city had to offer. "You'll love Prague," everyone I knew who had been told me. "But make sure you get out of the city as well!" Being a solo traveler, I wasn't keen on renting a car, so I decided to do some research and see if I could find a tour group. I knew I didn't want something that was too big and feel like I was being herded on a bus from location to location, so i was thrilled to find Czech Out Tours. From the beginning, Ondřej was communicative and helpful. Even though I had only intended to see Kutná Hora, he suggested I also check out one of his other tours and I found myself spending the weekend with Ondřej exploring the countryside of the Czech Republic. I loved that everything was included in the tour price, including admission across the various places we visited (and a lunch!) and full attention from our guide. I've traveled a lot and it's always such a lovely experience when you meet locals like Ondřej who are passionate about sharing what they love about their country with visitors. The group size was perfect, just 7 of us plus Ondřej and so the day felt like a small group of (new) friends getting together to explore. By the end of the day we had inside jokes and exchanged emails. The pick up and drop-off directly from my hotel was also such a nice touch. Since being back, I've already sent Ondřej and Czech Out Tours to a number of friends who are making their way to Prague soon. Thank you for sharing me your gem of a country!

5.00Ondrej is knowledgeable, engaging, and genuinely passionate about what he does. We experienced the best that Prague has to offer. What truly set this tour apart was the special recognition he gave me-it was thoughtful, unexpected, and greatly appreciated. Ondrej's attention to detail and care for guests elevated the entire tour. I cannot recommend Ondrej highly enough. He is wonderful and genuine.

5.00Kutná Hora and the Bone Church were awesome! The efforts to restore the displays of around 40,000 human remains in the Bone Church are incredible. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and also fun. He went above and beyond. We were so impressed that we went on a second tour with him while we were in Prague!

5.00We had a wonderful experience visiting a private castle and Kutna Hora. Ondrej was our private guide and driver and shared a lot of information while driving as well as at the places we went to. He was attentive to our needs and suggested a great place for a light lunch. It was a wonderful visit and we would highly recommend Ondrej and Czech Out Tours

5.00I had a great time with Ondřej on my tour of Kutna Hora. We weren’t able to go to the Folk Museum, since we did the tour in November. Instead of the museum, Ondřej was able to arrange a tour of one of the few privately owned castles in the country, which was fantastic to visit. After the castle, we were able to go to the Ossuary, which was incredible. After that, we got a delicious lunch before we did more exploring in the town which included a stop at a church and St. Barbara’s Church. Ondřej was a great guide and very hospitable. In the days leading up to the tour, he was emailing me about the slight change to itinerary (going from the Folk Museum to the Castle), as well as about the pickup time. He picked me up from my hotel on time and dropped me off there at the conclusion of the tour. While we were going from place to place, he answered all the questions I had and he did a wonderful job explaining all the sights that we saw throughout the day. If I were to go back to Prague, I would take another one of his tours, no questions asked.

He was extremely knowledgeable, professional, and genuinely passionate about every destination we visited. Ondra made the history come alive with interesting stories, kept everything well organized, and always made sure we felt comfortable and happy. He was patient, approachable, and always happy to answer questions or offer great local recommendations. This trip exceeded our expectations, and Ondrej truly made it unforgettable. 5.00Best day outside Prague.Ondrej picked me up from my accommodation although it wasn’t in city centre. The mini van was new and clean and Ondrej is extremely emphatic and is very acknowledge about Czech culture and history.Kutna Hora is a must see and the folk museum is a hidden gem which worth to be discovered.
