A long worthwhile day with a Kyoto native who knows the history and traditions of Kyoto. Kazuo Sumi taught us the correct way to enter both a Shinto Shrine and a Buddhist temple. He also supplied us with the appropriate historical and other information at every spot we visited and pointed out things we would have otherwise missed. He also arranged for a delicious sushi lunch and helped us navigate the diverse menu. The driver whisked us from spot to spot, knew shortcuts to avoid traffic, and was very efficient at dropping us off and picking us up.

Great Tour hitting all of the sites of Kyoto and a very comfortable SUV. Our guide Kazuo contacted me via email as soon as I booked the Tour with a list of possible places to see. We exchanged a number of emails where he honed in on what our interests were and arranged the day accordingly. We hit four key sites, where Kazuo guided us and explained the history and significance of each. he also took us to a local restaurant for lunch. Having the private car was wonderful as we could easily get from site to site. Highly recommend.

Our guide Andy Murao was very knowledgeable and helpful. He explained everything we were visiting and answered all our questions. We loved the places he took us. We ended our visit with a wonderful Kobe beef lunch.
