Yuki was so informative and enjoyable. He's a local who's family have been in Kyoto for centuries. His passion for his home and culture really complements the tour. Our group was very fortunate to run into 6+ geishas and maikos (apprentices) during our tour. Which is apparently very rare. We enjoyed the tour so much. And because of Yuki's recommendation, we went to a Gion Corner show the next day. Gion is beautiful and the cultural landmarks are easy to miss if you dont have a guide. Book the tour and you won't regret it. Thanks, Yuki!

Excellent tour ! I learned a lot about the origin of kabuki, and some of the differences between myth and reality of the life of Maikos and Geikos today, and why there are less and less women willing to choose this path today
