5.00Terrific and very informative tour — learned so much about this part of Kyoto and its history, and the history and lifestyles of the Geiko and Maiko. Wonderful evening walk, lovely to see this part of town under lanterns and lights. Ben was a wonderful guide — I greatly appreciated all of his teaching and his enthusiasm for the tour.

4.00A little bit shorter than the promised three hours but our guide Yukari was so nice and knowledgeable about the topic. I thought we were going to actually see Geishas, but you need to go to the museum of geishas to see them act.

Showing us historic spots while explaining about what makes them so historic, or what the buildings/ signs/ etc represented or meant. If you have Akari as your tour guide, you are sure to have an exciting and enriching tour.
