We'll walk around the Gion where many old Kyoto-style buildings can be seen. Our local guide will provide insight into how locals enjoy their nights. We will enjoy simple, seasoned Kyoto appetizers in a traditional atmosphere!
Moreover, you can try 3 different kinds of Sake produced in Kyoto, so you can enjoy authentic Kyoto sake with Kyoto foods!
Vegetalian course is available. You can also book both courses at a time.

3.00If you want an authentic introduction to the Kyoto food scene, this is not it unfortunately. The places we went to were empty or with other tourist groups, the quality and presentation of dishes was relatively little worth and the “guide” was more like a host, i.e. chatting away without a feeling of knowledge or respect for the culinary specialties. Lost time:(

5.00Jimmy was an excellent host for our family of six on our first night in Kyoto. He was friendly, engaging and shared local info as we walked from one restaurant to the next - three in total. The food was delicious and interesting - exactly what we had in mind.

5.00We had the most wonderful evening with Miyabi on the foodie tour! She took us to three great spots and we ate so so well. Definitely had food we wouldn’t have otherwise ordered (or understood). She explained Japanese history and culture so well and answered all of our questions and we just had such a genuinely lovely time altogether. I’d highly recommend this tour and definitely ask for Miyabi!

5.00Amazing and wonderful our tour guide was a 24 yr old university student who I would love to keep in contact with. My husband and I had the best time with him. So knowledgeable and awesome! Our tour guide and everyone in the restaurants. Amazing! Highly recommend!

5.00My wife and I experienced a small group food tour in Kyoto. The guide, whose name I did not write down, was excellent. He was personable, easy to engage with, took us to some interesting places to experience food, and was knowledgeable. He answered all questions from the group. At the end of our evening he walked us to a place where we could catch a taxi back to our hotel.
