3.00Our tour guides Carly and Carl were kind and knowledgeable but often hard to hear on the water. Carly did a great job trying to loosen up the new kayakers and get people laughing, as well as great tips for successfully riding the waves to land while staying mostly dry! We were disappointed that the “7 caves” tour really only included going into one cave for literally 2 minutes. It was also frustrating having to “fight” the other kayak companies and snorkel companies to go into the cave. Waiting seemed to take half of our time. Overall we enjoyed our time, who wouldn’t enjoy time on the ocean in the sun? But as experienced kayakers, I am not sure it was any better than renting private kayaks and going on our own.

5.00This was a perfect way for me to show my parents the best San Diego has to offer while they were in town. Carly and Evan were very knowledgeable of the La Jolla Cove and the wildlife. Awesome experience both for visitors and locals.

1.00Our guides were nice and I have nothing bad to say about them. However, our group should have never went out under the horrible water conditions that we did. The waves were so choppy that everyone was either wiping out, throwing up sick/sea sick, or having full on panic attacks. I legit saw like 4 people vomit. I had to turn around mid tour and go back because the water conditions were that scary. They need to be more careful about when they let people go out. Also, no one was there to help bring my two friends in. They got caught in a riptide and had a scary time coming in. I was helped in by some guys from the company, but they were nowhere to be found when my friends came in from the tour and this had to do it themselves which was virtually impossible with how bad/big the waves were. Wish I could get my money back from this experience.
