Touted by most as an “indescribable” experience, watch the water sparkle and dance as it's disturbed. Immerse yourself in nature under a beautiful sky far away from the city. No LED's or man made effects, just the natural phenomenon of bioluminescence in the calm waters of this protected habitat. Without the ability of cameras to capture the effect, this is truly a must see event!!

**Swimming is not mandatory. While it is an option that we highly advise you to take advantage of, no guest is required to swim if they are not comfortable to do so**
**This is not a Kayak Tour. Guests will be transported via motor boat through the protected waters to the best location to see and swim in the bioluminescence**
**Total time on the water is 45 minutes - 1 hour. Guests will be able to swim for 20 minutes**
**Visibility of the bioluminescence will fluctuate with weather, currents, and the moon cycle.**
**All guests pay regular rate regardless of age. The number of participants is monitored by the DRNA and is by seat, not age**

After exploring the village, hop aboard our boat in the original Bioluminescent Bay. Navigating to the darkest area, you will be able to safely touch, see, and swim in the bioluminescence, or enjoy from the boat. This is without question, the best way to do the bay! Touted by most as an “indescribable” experience, let the magic of the bioluminescence sparkle and dance in the water around you. Our captain will find the darkest, and most active location, to allow the best visibility and interaction!

5.00O M G, easily one of the best experiences we’ve ever had. Half moon was up in sky and our expectations to see luminance was super low, but it was amazing still. Must do once in your lifetime.

4.00It was a great night to see the biolumenescence with just a cusp of the moon. They said you could enter act by wing on the ladder if you wanted which was misleading as there was a platform with a straight ladder below it. They also allowed a drunk couple in the boat who were screaming the entire time and made others too tense to get in the water. That couple also brought there dog! Tied him on and he was under our feet freaking out. Sad! Different culture. But the water was cool to see.
Bioluminescence was beautiful! 😃 Consider going with someone else.

2.00The bioluminescence was beautiful! I wish I had gone with someone else. First, Caribbean breeze couldn't commit to a pickup time any sooner than an hour ahead of time, so I had to spend much of my day waiting on them. Second, Caribbean breeze did not provide a guide. They just provided a van driver and a boat driver. Third, when Juan the van driver showed up he didn't even pull into my hotels loading area. Instead, he parked the unmarked van on a busy street. If there hadn't been other passengers I probably would have missed it completely. Fourth Juan didn't provide any narrative about Puerto Rico on the three hour drive to the bay. Fifth the van was uncomfortable in the back row bouncing excessively like it needed new shock absorbers. Sixth, we arrived at the bay an hour before the boat ride at which point Juan showed us where and when to meet the boat driver and then Juan disappeared. Leaving us to fend for ourselves in a poorly lit mostly deserted dock with a few homeless people lurking in the shadows. Seventh the boat driver was polite but also didn't say much. The boat was small but adequate for the size of our group. The time swimming in bioluminescent bay was short, maybe 20 minutes. Then there was the long van ride back.

4.00It is such a surreal experience! We did the 8:15 tour and boating into the dark was amazing. You can see all the stars in the sky and then when you get in the water it’s like the stars jumped in with you! Seeing the water light up around you as to swim is a visual you can’t explain or prepare for! It was almost magical and the water was so warm! I would definitely do this again! I just wish it was longer!
