Pick-ups start at 7:30 am in the central and Sopocachi areas. The last stop is at San Francisco Basilica, where the group meets and departs at 8:00 am. The drive to Tiwanaku takes approximately 2 hours, so arrival is expected around 10:00 am to begin the guided tour.

5.00This was a wonderful experience, everything went perfect from the hotel pickup to learning about the sights to enjoying a lunch of traditional food in the Tiwanaku village. The guide was very knowledgeable of the history and open to more than the mainstream archaeological views regarding mysteries of the ancient sites and questions like how massive interlocking stones were created. This was a memorable day and one of the highlights of my trip to South America.

5.00Our guide Nat met us at the hotel lobby. He speaks fluent English. He was knowledgeable and friendly. We learnt a lot about the history of the Tiwanaku & Puma Punku. It is definitely a must go activity. We will recommend this tour!
