This beautiful forest full of natural life is the perfect habitat for all the species of plants and animals that live in its lush forest that is protected by the government, it was declared a nature reserve in 1952 and a National Park in 1980.

La Tigra National Park encompasses an impressive cloud forest that extends over 238 km2. The elevations in the park range from more than four thousand to almost seven thousand feet above sea level. Considered one of the richest habitats in the world, with good hiking trails and a great diversity of flora and fauna such as bromeliads, orchids, oak and a large number of native species and migratory birds.

5.00La Tigra was an amazing experience. Our guide, Francisco René was very knowledgeable and led us throughout the whole park. The waterfall was beautiful, as well as a few other lookouts throughout the forest.
A very good guide in Rene Nunes.
