Discover two of São Miguel’s most iconic volcanic landscapes on this private full-day tour combining Lagoa do Fogo and Sete Cidades, with visits to a traditional ceramic factory (closed on weekends and holly days) and a pineapple plantation.
Start your journey at the breathtaking Lagoa do Fogo, one of the Azores most beautiful volcanic lakes, surrounded by untouched nature and panoramic mountain views. Continue toward Sete Cidades, famous for its twin lakes inside a massive volcanic crater, where you will stop at spectacular viewpoints such as Vista do Rei.
Along the way, visit a traditional ceramic factory and also explore a pineapple plantation, where you can discover the unique greenhouse cultivation method used on the island and taste local pineapple products.

5.00Had a wonderful time exploring the island with Flávio! He was an amazing guide who shared his love for his home with us and taught us so much about its history, industry and sights. We loved our first day of touring so much we immediately booked him for a second day so we could see more! I couldn’t recommend this tour company more. It is a beautiful island and this was absolutely the best way to see it.

Informative and personable, we learned so much about where we were visiting, and what a delight to not have to worry about navigation, parking etc. After our tour, Flavio even checked in with us to make sure that our visit to Sao Miguel was going well. He is very professional, knowledgeable, smart, and fun to be with! we loved our two days with him… He customized everything for us according to our interests and the weather… He even took us in the evening to see the sunset on the west coast, and them to Ferreira to swim in the tidal pool during low tide at 10PM! was truly a special experience. Highly recommend him!!

5.00Flavio, for starters, is an excellent communicator. He reached out beforehand to plan our day and even made lunch reservations because a lot of places were closed due to a holiday. He explained the island perfectly, and even though the day was rainy, we were able to explore many places. He has a great sense of humor, and we thoroughly enjoyed our day. I would highly recommend you using Flavio for your touring needs.
