Ponta da Piedade Lighthouse
The cliffs of the Ponta da Piedade headland is one of the finest natural features of the Algarve. This dramatic limestone coastline is formed of sea pillars, fragile rock arches and hidden grottos, all of which have been chiselled-out by savage winter storms.

5.00My sister and I so appreciated the day spent with Gabriel, his patience, knowledge and insight it answering our multitude of questions we’ve had during our two week stay in Faro and the Algarve region. Gabriel’s love of country and enthusiasm in sharing and showcasing its beauty was evident from the moment we met. Thank you for a memorable addition to our stay …..and the oranges truly are better in Portugal, over Spain…..as is the vinho.

5.00This is a very nice tour! Pedro took us on an all day trip that included sandstone cliffs, caves , hiking and some shopping. We enjoyed lunch at a very good seaside restaurant. Pedro even gave our small group a sampler of local pastries to share. I would definitely recommend this tour. I would bring good walking shoes as you will be doing some walking.

5.00Not only was pedro an amazing tour guide - he’s a fantastic photographer! 100/10 recommend booking with Pedro if you find yourself out in the Algarve area! He has incredible knowledge of the area and is so kind! We learnt so so much about Portugal on his tour and He captures so many amazing moments for you as well! His tour was definitely one of the highlights of our trip! We even ran into his partner Gabriel and he was also so friendly, knowledgeable and so funny! We will definitely be booking with Vtours again next time we are in the Algarve area! Pedro and Gabriel really know the best spots!

5.00What a fabulous trip! Pedro was personable and very knowledgable, and made the whole day fun and interesting! He re-arranged the tour stops to meet our needs, and even offered to stop at places we didn't know about in advance. This was an outstanding experience - one of the best we had on our visit to Portugal. Well done!!

5.00We had a large group of 7 and am very thankful we found Gabriel’s tour! He took us to the sights we otherwise wouldn’t have seen and explained anything we wanted to know about the Algarve area and the culture. Even though the weather was a bit rainy, Gabriel was still able to accommodate and show us the sights and the beautiful nature in a different light. Again, very glad to have done the tour with him. We now have unique and beautiful pictures and memories of our time in Faro!

5.00What a pleasant surprise for us when our guide Gabriel greeted us outside our hotel in Faro. We instantly fell in love with his friendly personality and helpful manner. We knew we were in for a wonderful tour tailored to our needs. Gabriel loves people and being helpful. The sights were outstanding and Gabriel became our unofficial photographer for the day. We were thrilled not only to receive his photos the following day but, also a composite video memory of our day together. In addition, his lunch recommendation was absolutely the best seafood we had in Portugal. We were so pleased that we rebooked Gabriel for his next available day. Book Gabriel for your next Algarve tour and you will not be disappointed.
