We will begin a wonderful trip through the Intermediate Depression of our country from your hotel at approximately 06:40 am (remember that this value is in regular service shared with more tourists) taking the General San Martin highway that will take us to the border with Argentina, We have a technical stop at a service station, bathrooms, coffee, water etc. We will arrive at the MONACENTO DE CHACABUCO, where one of the battles for the Independence of Chile took place (1817). Then we will cross a mountain range called Cordón de Chacabuco through a tunnel of approximately 2 km and that serves as a regional limit, to find the beautiful view of Mount Aconcagua (the highest in the southern hemisphere) with its 6,959 meters high. We will also tell you about our first Santa from Chile, Santa Teresa de los Andes that its Sanctuary is Nearby. Later, we will find the old Trasandino Railroad line (1910) that worked between the city of the Andes and unites with the City of Mendoza (Argentina) nowadays only works on the Chilean side as a mining freight train. When passing through Rio Blanco we will see small towns, mining camps, glaciers and the imposing mountains. Beautiful and varied scenery on the trip to Laguna del Inca. Since the road is a major commercial connection between Chile and Argentina truck traffic can affect the trip time. Our guide Willie was friendly, informative and very considerate. He has a great sense of humor and made the trip even more enjoyable

It is an unmissable experience very close to Santiago. Our guide Guillermo is very friendly and friendly. We learned a lot about the culture of Chile, we felt at home with the attentions we had. We highly recommend it.

Willie was an engaging and interesting guide who kept me entertained and informed on this private tour to the Laguna del Inca. Willie also offers to include a trip to a winery on the way from Santiago as well. Note that the lake is at a high altitude and I suffered a little whilst there but was definitely worth the trip as it is a beautiful location in the Andes!

I did the Portillo Tour with a friend in March 2019 and recommend this trip a lot. We were a very small group of four people. Willy was a great guide with excellent English skills. He provided us with useful information about all the places we visited and made a lot of nice pictures for us, beautiful memories. When we visit Chile again we will choose chiletourfun to see him again!

Willie was an excellent tour guide. he was witty, knowledgable and very kind. He modified the tour to take my wife and I to a winery. i would highly recommend you do this tour with this company, you will not regret it. He was very accommodating and funny too.
