All drivers MUST be at least 18 years of age to operate machines and MUST provide a valid Driver’s License.
Child must be 7 or older to be a passenger. Please select the option for Driver + Child Passenger. Up to two children can ride with one driver.
Each Adult driver and all passengers (Adults & Children) are required to have their own ticket.
Covered closed toe footwear is REQUIRED for all tours.
Guests may get dusty or muddy depending on weather conditions. We recommend guests wear dark clothing or clothing they don’t mind getting stained. Clothing (top and bottom) is required to participate in tour.
Safety Helmets and Goggles are provided by Maui Off Road Adventures and are required for all guests to wear.
No recent surgeries, neck/back/knee problems, pregnant women, or any serious health conditions allowed on tours.
Drivers MUST be over 25 to drive minors under 18.

Guide led tours will take you and your friends, or family on miles of trails with unmatched views of the ocean. Located right above the Kapalua Airport and just minutes from Kanapali beach and Lahaina is our Westside location. This location consists of over 1,400 acres of riding terrain with the most breathtaking views of the ocean. Maui Off Road Adventures has partnered with the Pu’u Kukui Watershed Preserve to not only offer one of the most amazing riding experiences ever but also to educate our guests on the beauty and importance of this beautiful preserve. It is the home to plant and animal species that exist nowhere else in Hawaii, let alone the rest of the world. It’s also one of the wettest spots on earth. This 2 hour adventure tour combines amazing riding conditions with breathtaking scenic views of the ocean combined with total immersion into Hawaiian culture and pristine nature. Every passenger must be included on the booking.

5.00Driving ATVs in the mud and pools of water was a blast. We got so muddy and laughed the whole time. Crew was very helpful and prepared.

5.00We secured this experience through Viator, which remains our go-to platform for booking activities while traveling. The interface is clean, booking is straightforward, and everything you need — tickets, directions, confirmation — lives in one place. Communication leading up to the activity was prompt and clear. We were staying in the Kapalua Bay area, and the drive was roughly 14 minutes from our resort. The location is a bit tucked away, but the directions provided are accurate — I just didn't review them carefully enough beforehand. Entirely on me. Upon arrival, the staff was welcoming and efficient. Check-in moved quickly, waivers were handled without any fuss, and we were walked through a safety briefing before heading out. They also offer an optional video package filmed with an Insta360 camera mounted to the UTV — worth considering if you want to capture the experience without worrying about your own gear. The tour itself is two hours through lush jungle terrain, and if there's been recent rainfall, expect to get dirty. That's not a caveat — it's half the appeal. There are two planned stops along the route: one where you participate in a tree planting, and a second scenic overlook near the end where the guides share some history and context about the surrounding islands. It's a genuinely engaging touch that elevates this beyond a standard off-road excursion. Our guides were knowledgeable, personable, and clearly enjoyed what they were doing — which makes a real difference. This is an excellent activity for couples and families with older kids. Well-run, well-paced, and memorable.

5.00Get ready to get dirty, or muddy like us. After 28 inches of rain in one day, we had a ball driving through, ruts, water/mud holes and rugged terrain. You drove and sometimes slid through parts. The local grasses next to the trail were higher than the top of the vehicle which made taking corners very exciting since you couldn’t always see the vehicle ahead. After we finished, we all needed to hose off. We had an amazing time and would love to do it again!!!!!!!

4.00Had an amazing time, trail was muddy and exciting. Trip lasted just shy of 2 hours. Experienced a little rain which just made it a little more challenging highly recommend if looking for a bit of adventure while on Maui

5.00Fun tour of the mountains of Lahaina. Definitely something you must do once here in Maui ! Make sure to bring old shoes .
