Two exquisite glacier lakes glitter in the green valleys of the Slovenian Alps. We will visit Bled, mundane resort with an eminent medieval castle and a romantic island in the lake. Later we will drive to Lake Bohinj which lies in a tranquil and pristine valley in the Triglav National Park.

This was a wonderful tour to the Savica waterfall, Lake Bled and surrounding area. Our guide was very knowledgeable and helpful. We were in a van in a small group of 8 total people. Unfortunately one of the participants was very sick and wearing a mask when we arrived. I would encourage tour operators to have a health protocol for participants. If they are visibly sick, perhaps offer a reschedule/refund option. We were on day 2 of our vacation & all four of us ended up sick.

The trip went very smoothly and was as advertised. Guide was knowledgeable and had very good English. It would have been helpful to know the cost of the castle enry and boat trip in a advance, and that cash was the only option. Even a mention at the beginning of the day would have helped.

Prepare for uphill walking at the falls, the castle, and the island. Excellent guide, very informative. Beautiful views at all stops.
