Johnston Canyon
Note: After June 1st, this attraction will be replace by Moraine Lake. Johnston Creek originates north of Castle Mountain in a glacial valley southwest of Badger Pass The creek flows through a gorge known as Johnston Canyon. As Johnston Creek approaches the Bow River, it flows through a large canyon formed by erosion over thousands of years. The creek has cut through the limestone rock to form sheer canyon walls, as well as waterfalls, tunnels, and pools.
Castle Mountain is a mountain located within Banff National Park in the Canadian Rockies, approximately halfway between Banff and Lake Louise. The mountain was named in 1858 by James Hector for its castle-like appearance

5.00Caroline was an excellent guide and our Banff tour with her went flawlessly. She arrived at our hotel on time for pickup and was very clear about our itinerary. We learned a lot about the various tour stops and she politely answered all of our questions about her experiences living in Alberta which gave us a more local perspective. She was also very patient helping us to take various group pictures and putting on the ice cleats for the hiking trail. If you want an efficient, relaxed and informative tour with no hassles I would highly recommend asking for Caroline!

Every stop was absolutely breathtaking, and the itinerary was perfectly planned to maximize our time at each location without feeling rushed. Our guide was knowledgeable, friendly, and shared great insights about the area, which made the trip even more enjoyable. The transportation was comfortable, and everything ran smoothly from start to finish. This tour is a fantastic way to explore the most iconic lakes in the Rockies in one day. 5.00Alex was a great guide. He worked hard to please. He was a careful driver. We are glad we took the tour since we could not drive to Lake Louise and Moraine Lake. Public transportation would take extra time. We saw so many areas we did not know about. It was stated to call and confirm 24 hours before which we diid but Tony seemed very confused and was difficult to understand. We are glad Alex picked us up and everything was good. I wish the description was better since a walking stick would have been helpful to have with me.

5.00A picture perfect early summer day with extraordinary sites. We were with a group of 12 in the morning led by Jesh who did a wonderful job and then finished the day as a group of 4 led by Hovin--thanks for the extraordinary tour.
