5.00This was my very first time fishing — and it happened in a lake in Queenstown, New Zealand!! Oh my god. Eating super fresh sashimi that we literally just caught… that kind of experience really feels like a once-in-a-lifetime moment. I’ll never forget it. Olly is an extremely experienced fisherman, and also incredibly funny and down-to-earth. It honestly felt like he knows everything about fishing. Most importantly — he cured my motion sickness. Absolute lifesaver!!! We spent over three amazing hours on the boat, chatting about everything, cheering together every time a fish was on the line, taking photos of each other, and even learning the classic trick of making the fish look five times bigger in photos 😂 The weather in Queenstown yesterday was perfect. During those three hours on the lake, besides fishing, eating fresh sashimi and having breakfast together, I couldn’t stop admiring how breathtaking Queenstown looks from the water. Seeing the town from the lake gives you a completely different perspective. In such a highly touristic town, I truly cherished this unique and authentic way of experiencing New Zealand. Highly, highly recommended — five stars without hesitation! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

5.00Great day even with the wind and Rain we had lots of action, only lande 1 but Ollie got us onto fish, we just couldn't seem to keep them on long enough to get in the net. Nice new boat kept us dry and Ollie is a great Skipper and guide. Highly recommend

5.00Oliver is a Great skipper with a Top water riding boat in a Stabicraft. Very waterproof and no side wakes. The fishing was excellent with my wife and myself. Oliver had top reels and equipment. Over the three hours we caught 7 Rainbow and 1 Brown Trout The biggest went 4 1/2lbs and we only kept two of the smaller ones. Fish were gutted and cryovaced on board for us. Totally recommend fishing with Oliver Catch a Fish.

5.00A great day fishing with my son. We caught 19 fish including salmon, rainbow and brown trout. Ollie was fantastic and very knowledgeable. Couldn’t have asked for better. I would happily do another trip. Thanks Ollie.

5.00I took our 14 year old out and we had the best morning! Stunning scenery, and we caught sooo many fish. Ollie was so knowledgeable and the equipment and boat was first rate. Highly recommend this trip.
