  This trip was cancelled at the last minute due to a flight cancellation (fighting in the area). Tour operator offered an alternative trip (Awash National Park) and we had to take it as we were going to check out of the hotel in Addis Ababa. He tried to sell at $400 and ask us to pay additional amount, but I managed not to pay any extra. I later found out that Awash tour is cheaper than Lalibela. Tour itself was not as what was promised, and we caught only three normal animals other than crocodiles as the area we went was tiny part of the national park. It was a very disappoint experience.

  We bought the tour to Lalibela leaving from Addis Ababa, to begin with it included pick-up at the hotel at 9am, it was 9:15am and nothing, we called the agency and they asked us if we wanted them to pick us up? Hellooo hahahaha, we told them no so that they wouldn't make us part, we took a taxi outside our hotel, we arrived at the airport and almost about to land the plane made many circles and then told us that there were problems and they had taken the airport They returned Addis Ababa to us and we took a taxi back to the hotel... They didn't give us a cent back, at least they would have discounted our outbound flight,... They simply did not communicate, much less talk about a refund…..   This trip is so amazing! The tourist guide in Lalibela is a local, know the churches well.He gave us very good guide and organised the trip well. The stuffs in Addis are very helpful.Highly recommended！

  Great experience and I highly recommend it for anyone wanting to discover Lalibela's temples. Mareg was great and full of knowledge. Thank you also to the team, they help us and answer all our questions. Note: If you want to go visit Lalibela wear walking shoes, you can easily remove to enter the temples and have a good physical conditions ( the hills may kill your knees).   After all those days of lockdown I had an amazing trip to Ethiopia, Lalibela to celebrate Gena which is Ethiopian Christmas, and it really was an amazing.and so much refreshing experience. I'm so glad I took this trip.

  The travel agent at this travel company suggested this tour based on my interest and the time I had and he really done a great job, he arrange everything before I arrived there and everything was on place the hotells were so amazing the accommodation was also great. I really enjoyed my time there.

  We booked with ETT Tours after reading a recommendation online in the New York Times and Trip Advisor. Getting in touch was easy and the booking experience both simple and intuitive.
