To join us on the Akamas Blue Lagoon Safari Peninsula is an adventure you can’t beat by doing this on your own as we will take you with our 4x4 Land Rovers off the beaten tracks to all special and difficult-to-reach places. Via the Sea Caves to the Avagas Gorge, from Lara (Turtle Bay) to the Blue Lagoon for a relaxed swim. (weather permitted). To the villages on the return trip. Our experienced friendly fully qualified drivers/guides who have been in for many years with the company will give you all the information you need/want to know about this very special area of Cyprus and lots more. There will be time for a joke and a laugh and they have no problem going the extra mile to try to make your day perfect.

Sea Caves
Thalassines Spiles were till approx. 1960 seals were living. It’s a very quirky part of the coastal line where over many years the sea and wind have sculpted caves ledges and islets in a very artistic way.
Walk in the gorge which is well known for its 30-metre-high limestone walls. Rich vegetation and fresh springs create an atmosphere that will put you in positive mood for the rest of the day.

Lunch is not included in the trip unless stated different. A lunch break of an hour will be made by a traditional taverna where you can opt to order lunch.
If a stop is made at a winery in winter time costs for winetasting at the winery is not included. Costs between7.50-11.00 euro depending on option you choose.

1.00I booked this trip on my last day in Paphos, got a ticket. Start 2/01/26 at 8.00. I waited for half an hour, no one came. I called and they told me to apologise, the system failure. It was too late to look for other trips for that day. If you don't want to spoil your mood and vacation, don't book a trip with this company.

1.00We were very disappointed and shocked with Debbie, our tour guide, who displayed racist and rude behavior throughout the experience. Rather than providing a neutral tour, she used the opportunity to express her personal judgments and opinions as if it were her political platform. During the tour, she verbally attacked passing tourists and rolled down the windows to shout at them with swear words, if she felt they weren't aligned with her beliefs. It's alarming for a tourist guide to lack the ability to embrace social diversity nor manage basic emotional control. It's particularly concerning when there are numerous complaints about her in the Getyourguide reviews and here and yet she still remains as a guide. This reflects in the protocols maintained by her company. When Debbie asked me and learned I am a lawyer, she made several snide comments regarding my profession, which I found unprofessional and unacceptable. If she has strong issues with the capitalistic perspective of the world, she may want to consider joining a political party that aligns with her beliefs, rather than bullying and annoying paying tourists who are there to enjoy their time. I would strongly advise tourists to check whether Debbie is the guide before joining this tour, if they do join this tour.

5.00We had a great day out with Evros who has a real sense of humour. We saw so many wonderful views and the walk up the gorge was fascinating. Really good optional lunch which Evros organised before we left Blue lagoon so we didn't have to wait long to eat. Recommended.

3.00Bring a towel and costume as you can go swimming in the blue lagoon.Everyone in the group knew because they received a programme when they booked through another operator.I didn’t when I booked through Viator so I missed out on the swimming.

5.00We had a fantastic, full day with our guide and expert driver Debbie and can not recommend this 'land Rover' 'jeep safari' enough in terms of the experience and the value for money. We were collected from our hotel at 8am and special provision was made for a member of our party who had had back issues in the past to sit at the front. We started the day visiting the Avakas Gorge and the early start was perfect as we missed the crowds and the heat of the day. It is an relatively easy 45 minute walk for the part that we saw. We then moved on to Lara Beach to see where the turtle hatcheries are - a beautiful spot - and we learned so much about the turtles and conservation. Next we headed for a spectacular view point off road and then went on to Aphrodite's Baths and then the Blue Lagoon for a swim. A beautiful spot - though the decent down to the beach is quite tricky. After this we had lunch at an excellent taverna in Latchi before heading back to the Sea Caves via a detour through a beautiful Cypriot village. Stunning. Though the meal at Latchi was not included we had a great 'snack' - if it can be called that! A simple sandwich was a triple decker with a HUGE portion of chips. Excellent value for money at 8 euros ! Debbie our driver was very passionate about her role and knowledgeable - sharing a lot of information about the area and conservation. We never once felt unsafe and having seen the way that some other drivers were driving their tours by LandRover we were glad that we had chosen this company. She was a real star! Customer service from the moment we contacted this company to the end of our safari has been fantastic - thank you Inga who was on the end of WhatsApp messages etc. We will be returning to Pafos next year and can't wait to see what other excursions this company do. Thank you for a brilliant day.

5.00Very nice jeep safari with several nice stops. Our guide 'Debbie' was a fantastic driver and knew very much about the history of Cyprus. Challenging roads, a beautiful gorge, beautiful views and swimming in clear blue water... in summary highly recommended.

5.00Fabulous day out! The whole trip was very well organised – each stop gave us enough time to enjoy and explore without ever feeling rushed. Our driver and guide, John shared so much knowledge about the island with great passion and kindness, which made everything even more interesting. John is a professional driver and careful, so even on the bumpiest and most challenging roads we always felt safe. He also timed our visits perfectly, making sure we arrived at the sights when they were less crowded. It was a memorable experience, and we couldn’t have asked for a better guide! Book your tour with John!!

5.00Hotel pickup was very punctual. Evros is an excellent driver. His English may not be the best, but he is a very nice man and we thoroughly enjoyed the trip. In fact this was the best out of the three daytrips that we had booked. We were the first jeep (out of 21 jeeps doing this trip) at Avakas gorge so that meant we could beat the crowd and had the gorge pretty much to ourselves and could do it before it was too hot. We were very apprehensive about the cramped seating in the jeep, but actually 8 people were seated comfortably and with the windows down, we did not miss airconditioning. Blue lagoon is superb for swimming and photography. Evros took us to a nice hotel for lunch after the swimming break. We arrived at the sea caves and Edro III shipwreck around 3:30p.m - the light was harsh but it could not be helped. Overall the trip was well planned, spaced out and never felt rushed. A must do trip and this company is highly recommended.
