Eagle Square
Standing at 12 meters high (39.3 feet), this commanding statue is inspired by Langkawi's namesake sea eagle. Poised to take flight, the statue is the focal point of the waterfront Dataran Lang, a star-shaped plaza located on Kuah Bay. It's one of the first sights to greet visitors arriving via ferry or cruise ship. Dataran Lang is popular for photos with the larger-than-life Brahminy kite, or to simply watch boats sail in and out of the bay. Opposite the square, across a small footbridge, is the Jetty Point Complex, Langkawi's main ferry terminal and a mid-sized mall with duty-free shopping opportunities and fast food chains.
Durian Perangin Waterfall
This lush, jungle-clad picnic grounds centers around a series of cascading waterfalls and natural rock pools. Durian Perangin waterfall consists of 14 shallow tiers, accessible via a series of footpaths and bridges. Those adventurous enough to climb the 200-meter long steep staircase to the highest level are met with a gushing vertical stream and a large flat rock surface to sit on and bask in the sun. Take a dip in the cooling pool and make your way over to stand underneath the falls' thundering current to feel the revitalizing water wash over your body.

5.00Our private driver/guide was very kind and knowledgeable. He provided for a pleasant stress free day. He allowed us to stray from the itinerary when we desired and ensured we returned to the ship on time. Wonderful island.

5.00It was a great day! Ruby was a wonderful driver and spoke excellent English. She gave us lots of information about the island. Our boat driver Daniel was also awesome. He stopped the boat do we could feed the monkeys. It was a very memorable day!

5.00My gosh we had so much fun with Yuven. He made a little extra stop for some shelling on the beach and recommended a great restaurant at the shops for the Skycrest cable car. He even took us to and amazing store for my sister in law to find local packaged coffee. The whole excursion was amazing! Loved walking the suspension bridge! Thank You! Til we meet again!

5.00Our driver was absolutely fantastic. She was extremely knowledgeable about the island and clearly very proud of her home, which made the experience even more special. She was friendly, communicative, and made us feel very welcome throughout the day. As a lovely personal touch, she even surprised us with a bag of traditional local sweets, which we really appreciated. I would highly recommend this tour and especially our driver, she truly made the experience memorable.

5.00Brilliant day out in Langkawi with our excellent Jara Holidays driver/guide Fisa. Everything went like clockwork. Visited the sky bridge etc then an amazing boat ride through the mangroves up to the equally amazing bat cave, then on to Eagle square. Also visited plantations and hidden temples that weren’t even on the schedule. Would definitely book JARA Holidays an Fisa again.

5.00A great tour of Langkawi with our guide Zaid Alif. We arrived by cruise ship and Zaid met us at the cruise port where he was waiting for us upon arrival and also got us back on time. His vehicle is comfortable and clean and he is an excellent driver. We felt very safe at all times. Zaid speaks fluent English and was very patient answering all of our questions. He also took great photos of us throughout the day. Langkawi is absolutely beautiful and this tour allowed us to experience far more than we ever could have had we booked a group tour through the cruise ship. Highly recommend.

5.00Fatin was a great tour guide and the car was clean. She was very proud of her island. We saw alot and just a suggestion...dont miss the 3D Art centre at the bottom of the cable car in the village. We almost decided not to go as art really isnt our thing however we did and It was absolutely amazing. Very nice day.

5.00Ruby was an absolutely outstanding guide. This was the best excursion I’ve taken since I’ve been on my cruise. She was very funny, informative, personable and Her English was great. We had a wonderful time together, and I would highly recommend her.
Fun activities but guide could have been so much better

4.00We did some fun things but had a guide that .. we could not hear … didn’t provide much information… several times we returned from our activity and ge was no where to be found.. think he was smoking and chatting with his buddies
