Home to Tamang communities, the Langtang Valley has long been a favourite trek due to its stunning views, and exciting Tamang culture. Despite bad effects due to the devastating earthquake of 2015 and subsequent landslides, the region has reopened for trekking again. As most of the trekking in Langtang entirely takes place below 4000m, the trekking trail is suitable for trekkers of all ages and under any physical condition.

5.00This marks my third trip in Nepal with Adventure Thirdpole. I have forged a great friendship with Mr. Rajendra Man Dongol since 2015. We were gutted that Mr. Raj could not join us for this trek due to ailments and family commitments. Nonetheless, he and Mr. Deepak left us in good hands with Adarsha Mahat as our guide and Ram Bahadur Tamang and Tara Bahadur Tamang as our porters. Adarsha Mahat I believe that Adar will one day be a top guide in Nepal due to his commitment in delivering top class services to his clients. His vast knowledge in the surroundings, environment and trekking routes of every region impresses me. The care and compassion that he showed us in times of need are truly commendable. In him, I have gained a great friend for life. We connected on many levels and we both have many common interests. I would love Adar to be my guide again in future expeditions either to Mustang or Island Peak. Ram & Tara Bahadur Tamang Ram is no stranger to me as we have worked together during our ABC trek in 2017. This time, I have seen another and better side of him. He was truly a workhorse with proper ethics. Even with his superhuman speed in manoeuvring around the mountain ridges, he cared for everyone of our safety during this trek. He is quiet but his voice brings a certain aura of calmness especially when we are reaching a teahouse. Tara is one of the oldest workers of Adventure Thirdpole. He portrays a fatherly figure where you could only crack a joke or two with him. He deserves the highest respect due to his care and concern for the ladies during the whole trek. He kept the rhythm and spirits up by singing Nepali folk songs to ensure that we were entertained. His eagerness to learn new knowledge impresses me the most. Adventure Thirdpole is a well renowned company that delivers the best services that will ease trekkers’ minds, bodies and souls during any difficult times. I can safely say that I will never find any other company that will surpass the services rendered by Adventure Thirdpole Treks.
