Explore the scenic Lantau Island with one of our hosts. Surrounded by indigenous forests, you’ll be able to replenish your oxygen levels away from the hustle and bustle. Discover Lantau’s rich cultural gems and natural beauty while enjoying the local food. Take a trip to Po Lin Monastery and the Big Buddha or grab your hiking boots and explore the Lantau Trail. For a glimpse into pre-colonial Hong Kong, visit the Tai O fishing village and do some river meandering. You might even spot Lantau’s elusive pink river dolphins!

Within 24 hours after booking you'll receive a short questionnaire about your personality and interests. Based on your responses, you'll be assigned a like-minded local host. Your host will communicate with you directly to suggest an itinerary to help you discover what makes the city unique. You will also agree on a meeting time and place. Your itinerary is flexible, so during the experience, you can always change your mind about what you want to do.

We had an amazing time on this trip! The weather was a bit chilly and foggy, but it didn’t take away from the experience, even though we couldn't see the Tian Tan Buddha. We got to try a variety of local foods in Tai-O that we can’t find back home and enjoyed the area. Our guide was not only friendly but also took fantastic photos and was incredibly kind. We highly recommend this day trip!

This tour was absolutely splendid! Our guide, Kiyo took care of us as he showed us around Lantau Island. He ensured we had a fabulous experience and arranged our schedule to beat the crowds. We especially enjoyed his food recommendations and sense of humor. I highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting to see the sights on Lantau Island.

Lydia was absolutely fantastic. She is very personable plus she is a licensed guide so knows a lot about the area. She was very supportive of making it easier since one of us has some ability issues. She suggested upgrades as needed. After the tour of the Buddha, she took us to a wonderful fishing village for a ride on a boat to see dolphins and then have a nice local lunch. I wish we had met her the day before and had two days with her instead of just one. Kent
