Join us for one of the must-see places on your Hong Kong adventure, a day-trip to Lantau island, in the comfort of your own private party in a luxury private vehicle, plus optional VIP option.
Lantau is known as Hong Kong’s green lung, like stepping back in time 50 years when you visit. Most of the stunning island is untouched and can only be accessed by public transport. We will navigate you and your guests seamlessly through the highlights in this full day private tour. Highlights include:
- skip the line access and the 24-minute ride of the Ngong Ping cable-car (upgrade for private Crystal+ cabin)
- Po Lin Monastery and Big Buddha
- Tai O fishing village by foot and by boat
- a boat ride for the pink dolphins and a look at Hong Kong-Macau- Zhuhai tunnel / bridge (upgrade for private boat)
- full day private car option and VIP car option (no public transportation necessary)

You may cancel, in writing, up to 7 days before the tour commencement date and time and your payment will be refunded in full via your original payment method.
If the tour in cancelled within 3-6 days of the tour, 75% of your tour fee will be refunded.
If the tour is cancelled within 24-48 hours of the tour start time, 50% of your tour fee will be refunded.
If the tour is cancelled with less than 24 hours notice, or you do not show up for the tour, no refund will be issued.
NB: Travel insurance is highly recommended

5.00Fantastic Lantau Island Experience – Highly Recommend We had an excellent day exploring Lantau Island and couldn’t have asked for a better guide. From start to finish, everything was very well organised, and tailored to what we wanted to see. Our guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely engaging throughout the day. They shared great insights into Hong Kong’s culture and history, which really brought each stop to life. We never felt rushed, and the pace of the tour was perfect. The itinerary was fantastic. Highlights included the Big Buddha, Ngong Ping, and Tai O fishing village. Having private transport made a big difference, allowing us to cover a lot comfortably and efficiently. The cable car experience and scenic views were a real standout. What impressed us most was the flexibility and attention to detail. Our guide was happy to adjust the day to suit our preferences and made sure we were comfortable at all times. Overall, this was one of the best experiences of our trip to Hong Kong. If you’re considering a tour of Lantau Island, I would highly recommend this one, it’s well worth it.

5.00I highly recommend this experience. Nicole is an exceptional tour guide. She was very friendly, organised, knowledgeable and engaging. Everything we did was amazing - the old fishing village, the cable car, visiting the big buddha, going out on the boat and anything else I missed. The pace was perfect, we did not feel rushed. As we are a gluten free family, Nicole kindly advised us on restaurants which we could dine at. Nicole and the very friendly driver dropped us off at the end of the day where we wanted to spend the evening. All in all, our best day in Hong Kong!

5.00This tour was really unbelievable. Stephen picked us up at the airport ten minutes ahead of time, taught us some of the history and culture of Hong Kong, answered constant questions and made our day long tour an amazing experience. I really can’t have imagined it being any better…..and get this….we saw many pink dolphins!! After we got back to the airport, Stephen sent us a highlight video of our trip! What a kind, caring soul. We are lucky to not only have him as a tour guide, but that we got to meet him and learn about his family. Stephen, best of luck to you and your growing family;)

Exceptional Lantau Excursion

5.00The "touring" part of Lantau is probably pretty standard, but Amy just knew how to handle everything! She made sure our Ngong Ping cable car wasn't plastered with stickers, which would have impeded the view. At the Big Buddha, since my husband couldn't really negotiate the 289 steps, she arranged transport to the top with the monks (but she ran up the steps)! In Tai O, we had a delightful lunch off the beaten track, even washing our dishes in hot water before eating...old style! Amy was an absolute delight and our group would wholeheartedly recommend planning any excursion with her. We were picked up in Macau...spent the day in Lantau and dropped off in Hong Kong which gave us an extra day in HK. She arranged it seamlessly so we never had to touch or think about our luggage.

5.00Our first time visiting beautiful Hong Kong! Spent a day with Stephen from Hong Kong Greeters — such a terrific choice! A private car whisked us from downtown Kowloon to a Ngong Ping glass bottom cable car, arriving at the iconic Big Buda temple complex. Stephen had a wonderful way of weaving history, culture and humor on our visit. We moved on to the fishing village of Tai O, where our guide’s family were from, sharing local stories, food and culture. A ‘not to be missed’ experience! Many thanks!

5.00I had a great time on the Lantau Island. The transport was comfortable and on time, making the day stress-free. Our English-speaking guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and shared interesting stories about the island. We visited beautiful spots like the Big Buddha and Tai O village, and the pace felt just right. I’d recommend this tour to anyone wanting a personal and easy way to explore Lantau!
