Laos Buffalo Dairy
Being picked up from your hotel or our office in LPQ centre and you will spend one morning to experience and learn about a nonprofit organization named Laos Buffalo Dairy Farm, The tour you will take which will give you chance including Buffalo ice cream, coffee and a choice of one of 3 cakes, which were all made from the produce on the farm, buffalo milk, eggs from the chickens. The story behind the farm and how it came to be and what Laos Buffalo Dairy Farmthey are doing for the local community is amazing. You will also feed the pigs which had an organic flooring and absorbed any odors, hence a pig pen with no smell. You feed chicken's, buffalo's and of course you even got an opportunity to milk a buffalo. Our guide will available to answer all questions in regards to the Dairy. All animals on the dairy are well looked after, none of them are they distressed.
Kuang Si Falls
Kuang Si waterfall is also the biggest in the Luang Prabang area with three tiers leading to a 50-metre drop into spectacular azure pools before flowing downstream. The pools also make great swimming holes and are very popular with both tourists and locals. After the swimming the fresh blue water the tour guide will escort you to the van for the ride back to city.

5.00We only did the buffalo farm but I couldn't find an option to just review that. We really enjoyed the tour - our 7 year old got to milk a water buffalo - that doesn't happen at home! It was educational but the kids also just liked cuddling rabbits, pigs and water buffalo!

2.00The waterfalls and the Buffalo farm were great but next time I wouldn’t use a tour provider, I would book it direct. 1. We discovered it’s much cheaper to book direct with the local businesses. 2. The tour provider was extremely disorganized…did not have our tickets for both activities…we had to wait in the parking lot while he checked with his boss…then same thing again at the Buffalo place. Highly recommend booking your activity direct through your hotel or the businesses so there’s no confusion.

5.00Good fun for kids. Rabbit, pig, buffalo feeding ... Amazing ice cream and just a breath of fresh air in a region so rich in culture and diversity with so much to do for children.
