We will meet in Piazza Duomo, the main square of Amalfi.

In the first part of the experience, I will test your knowledge about limoncello.

Once all doubts have been clarified, especially on the choice of alcohol and the recognition of a quality liqueur, I will explain the maceration, production and bottling process in detail. Later, I will show you how to taste it and at what temperature to serve it. After the initial tasting, a short historical paragraph will follow which will explain the origins of the famous "Amalfi gold".

Next, you will personally experience the production of my grandparents' original recipe. Finally, I will reveal some tips for your future experiences at home!

Full Limoncello Making Experience (Max 6 people) Meet at Antichi Sapori d’Amalfi, home to the only limoncello factory in the historic center of Amalfi. Enjoy a guided visit inside an old family-run factory and learn about the history and traditions of limoncello. Together with your instructor, you will actively prepare limoncello, learning how it is produced in a strictly artisanal way, following a method passed down through three generations. You will understand every step of the process so you can recreate it at home. Vittorio and Clara are among a dwindling generation of authentic, wholesome producers of limoncello in the area. They invited us in and we learned a lot about identifying & making good limoncello! Vittorio also generously allowed us to try some of the other liquors they make in-house. Overall, I couldn't imagine a better tour to book in the area as they are at the heart of what makes it special.

We loved Claire ! The tour is a great experience. I’d love to do it again I recommend this place 100%. They’re the official and most family style limoncello place you can find on Almafi. Book this tour it’s a must. You walk in and it feels like family !

Great learning experience on the making of Limoncello! The owner/tour guide was an excellent speaker and very enthusiastic about there products! We thoroughly enjoyed sampling all the different flavors and highly recommend this short but very informative tour!

This limoncello experience is a must do when in Amalfi! Vittorio and his wife Clara welcome you with open arms to their third generation, family run business. They show you the most authentic way to produce limoncello, you get to actively participate in the process, and of course sample many of their amazing products. Huge bonus that they can ship purchases directly to your home. Can’t recommend this experience enough, it was a highlight of our trip!
