5.00Citlalli is a lovely person and a wonderful teacher. She was so patient with us! Her studio space is bright and inviting and we were able to see some of her amazing work. We all went home with small woven wall hangings that we created. It was a great way to spend a few hours in San Miguel.

5.00Great time spending about an hour and a half learning a little bit about the history of weaving and had a lovely hands-on course in a cool setting in a quiet corner of town. Instructor was very nice and hospitable. Would highly recommend.

5.00Citlalli, our artist teacher (she’s amazing) is a delight, very informative and patient. We loved her class and that means my husband AND I!! We learned 4 different patterns and took home some beautiful (we think) treasures! She sells beautiful things too from tightly woven clothing to wall hangings-she is a serious artist. 5.00Citlalli is an excellent artist and teacher. As this was my first-time weaving experience, she demonstrated each step of the process and stitches, then allowed me time to practice and learn the skill. Citlalli was personable, professional, and encouraging throughout the experience. She provided many options for incorporating other types of media into the weaving process. At the end of the class, I left with a piece of weaved art that I can further embellish and hang proudly. Thank you sincerely, Citlalli.

5.00Absolutely AMAZING class! If I could, I would award 10 stars! Citlalli is an artist and she is also a teacher. That's a great combination. The class is very organized and so very welcoming at the same time. She presents weaving basics in a structured but not overwhelming manner. The class activities allow you sufficient time to practice the basic techniques and develop a competency so that you're confident you can weave your own piece once you're home. The class atmosphere is such that the student leaves with an enthusiasm and an interest in learning more about weaving. Cannot recommend this class highly enough. Thank you, Citlalli!

5.00I enjoyed this workshop so much! Not only is Citalli an accomplished craftswoman, she is an excellent teacher. I learned how to set up the loom, how to weave by one, by two, with two colors, to braid, to include additional decorative fibers and to secure the edges. Her instructions were clear and easy to understand. The environment was inspiring and the cinnamon tea delicious. My weaving will remind me of my visit to San Miguel.

5.00We worked with Citalli to provide a weaving workshop for our women’s yoga retreat in San Miguel de Allende and our time with her was THE highlight of our trip. She was fantastic to plan with, so inspiring to our group members, and the pieces we made were the perfect souvenir for us all to bring home. It was truly a 100000/10 experience and I would be so lucky to work with her on a future retreat next time we are in San Miguel de Allende. I cannot recommend her enough!
