  My friend and I did this tour as a unique way to see the city. It lived up to all of our expectations! He started off the tour by giving us a book that he had made that would help us learn different drawing techniques. He was extremely knowledgeable and helped us so much with our art. I would highly recommend this to anyone who’s interested in drawing or learning about the city in a new way.

  We always try to book a tour with difference. We commenced with simple techniques and moved on to complex and perspective of drawing. Well thought out content. We were supplied with a delightful art book and pencil n pen to use

  When travelling we aim to book a tour with a difference. This tour was a fulfilling afternoon, learning about sketching in the city. We were meet by the guide, who supplied sketch books, pencil n pen. The guide had put a lot of detail in the tour content. We learnt how to use different lines, and techniques and how to draw the correct perspective to capture the buildings. Each new drawing built on the previous. The drawing blocks were so beautifully presented.

  Jamie created a wonderful class for our kids (ages 6, 8 and 10) to help them learn urban sketching. He prepared all the lessons and materials so it was guided and got harder as the class went on. He was flexible to their interests and very patient and you could tell he loved sharing his love for art with us. For example, he prepared some worksheets with dots to help guide their drawings of actual scenery they were looking at (Eg a building, church, viewpoint, etc). The kids got their own sketchbooks and worksheets which also was fun for them. It was an incredible way to take in the beauty and vibe of the art scene in Valpraiso, and make it accessible for kids. It definitely helped spark an artistic passion for them. We loved how hands on it was . I would recommend Jamie’s class!

  I had an amazing time on Jaime's sketching tour and learnt so much. Within a couple hours I gained an understanding of perspective, focus, framing and a bit of history of Chile and Valparaiso along the way. I would 100% recommend the experience to anyone wanting a different memory of this beautiful city whose heart is in the arts :) Thank you Jaime for lessons I'll forever carry with me!
