Very disappointing visit to LEGOLAND® Discovery Centre Oberhausen

Our visit was unfortunately very disappointing in many ways. As soon as they entered, they noticed that it was dirty everywhere. Many play and adventure areas looked old, unkempt and heavily polluted. Numerous LEGO bricks were so worn out that they could no longer be plugged together properly – for a brand like LEGO, this is absolutely incomprehensible. The service was practically nonexistent. At the first station nothing was explained, there was no introduction, no hints and no support. The staff seemed unmotivated, unhappy and unhelpful overall. No information was given in the ticket area: • no explanation of the location • no hints on what to do first • no rules or guidance for families Especially for a place that caters to children and families, this is very disappointing. The condition of the toilets was particularly bad – they were extremely dirty and hygienically unacceptable. The dining area was also disappointing: • hardly any choice • Unappetizing • definitely not child-friendly food It is incredible to me that LEGO allows a Discovery Centre to operate in such a state. This damages the image of a brand that actually stands for quality, cleanliness and child-friendliness. Additionally, I would like to note that the LEGO Store was significantly more expensive on site than the official LEGO Online Store, which is very frustrating for visitors. Overall, the visit in no way lived up to expectations, neither the price nor the LEGO name. I very much hope that this feedback will be taken seriously and lead to significant improvements.

Adventurous day for the 6 year old and lots of fun on the ghost train and the octopus. Great opportunity to trade fairs with others in building cars. ( Unfortunately without much success because others were better )

Visit Legoland, where kids love it today ✨ The staff played hide and seek together and seemed to be having a lot of fun 😊 I really recommend it to my neighbors because they are free in the evening and can play slowly! I'm looking forward to finishing my homework on the day I go to Legoland the fastest and I'm grateful 💛

Be sure to bring your own food and drink! The food there is underground and absolutely unhealthy. The prices for it are unearthly. The cleanliness was very good, it is constantly cleaned and the staff are very friendly. I think the entrance fee is reasonable.

Price performance not right . If we had to pay the regular price, I would have been mad. Soundscape cruel , it was so loud that you had to shout at each other all the time . Maybe outside the holidays quite nice but not for the price .

At the reception very helpful lady the children 5-8 year found it very nice Interesting, funny driving stations, creative stations, and romp as well as collecting the stamps 👍🤣 We look forward to next time. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Great for big and small. We stayed there with our 2 year old son and he had great fun. When I was pregnant, I couldn't go on the rides. But to the 4D cinema. But he also had fun with Dad alone in the vehicles.
